It's time to give the guy a chance. I'd sooner watch an enthusiastic youngster trying to make things happen than watch more of Bertos and Daniel drifting through games offering very little other than crap set pieces.

Hope he doesn't get rushed into the first team.  While the sports scientists will have the best idea about how much Rojas should be playing at his age, it strikes me that week-in/week-out A-League football might be a bit much for a teenager.

(Don't read that as, "Exile him to the reserves!"  I just mean that the kid's probably best off starting on the bench.)

There's teenagers playing week-in/week-out in the Premier League . . .

Most of them aren't midgets with no meat on them, though (no offence Marco if you're reading)

Though it's not as if Tommy Oar was a heavyweight. I still think it'd be better to ease him in but would be excited to see him start, I must admit. Purely because it's something Ricki hasn't really done before.

You can't have ever seen Marco up close.

He's short, but he aint no midget.  Hits the gym pretty hard for a hobbit.

Kids used to work all day in factories when they were 8. Teenagers can't play football every week? please...
I like tautologies because I like them.

... and pay for t' priv'ledge. But tell the young folk these days and they'd be highly sceptical.

Apparently this Rojas guy plays for someone else now, however YF will be doing a Scholarship this year/early next.

Can you please email scholarship@yellowfever.co.nz if you know of someone is playing at the u19 tournie at Napier or Chch this weekend, and who might be in with a shot (ie not because he is your bro/cuzzie/mate). We will check him out. Tell us what team he plays for etc..

Peace out

Also, our entire gameplan is based around what he does best, getting round the outside of defences and crossing.
