Last year Greeney and some of the lads organized a few boxes of Black, Yellow and White Canteen bandanna's to be sold at Backbencher before the game.

Its a really worthy cause and I'd be keen to support it again. I'll help out selling them if needed.

So do we think we could do the same again? maybe for the Queensland Roar game?

I think it was Marius's initiative actually.

Yes we can do.  Want to volunteer to organise?  I'll make Feverish buy one, I'll buy one, and News will need two...

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Excellent. Big ups to Marius for organizing the first one.

If I'm helping sell them we'd better start early in the day at BB's cause otherwise I'll get to drunk and start forcing people to buy them

Actually now that I think of it I could sell some around my work to if needed.

Fitz, send me a note tomorrow reminding me to ask Marius if he fancies taking the lead on it again.

He's got something on tonight so won't be in.

I see a lot of nix fans still wearing last years effort. obviously a fashion statement that is not going out of fashion. This years should sell well and a brilliant cause to support. I'll buy some more.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Yeah good idea we'll buy some more. Anyone know how to tie them on your head though as Vickmeist can't do it on her own and I'm hopeless? I must be a ninja rather than a pirate.

Also why not a yellow and black canteen then you could put it in your earthquake kit?

Yep, i always used to use Canteen bandanas for headware during my days in the kicthen side of the hospotrade. You guys get in early enough and ill try and get the staff to wear them on matchday.

Marius is going to talk to them tomorrow about what their campaign is based around this year and what dates and things.  If next week suits we'll be going large from Monday if we can get them in time.

Wellington police had to call in the riot  squad as hords of old and fat shirtless yellow and black bandana wearing YF gang members ran riot after an unexpected Wellington Phoenix win.

Alright folks, we're on.

Sammy is picking up armfuls of the Phoenix Bandanna on Friday and we'll go large over the weekend selling them.

We'll co-ordinate plans later in the week for those that want to help out.  Anyone who fancies selling a few pre-Rugby would be welcome as well.   Want to try and beat last years tally.

Will be bannered later in the week as well.

Any chance of getting one before the weekend? I'm away for cricket the whole weekend which is pretty guttering but I still want to get one.

Two things.

1, Talk to me on Thursday afternoon, should have an idea when we will have them on Friday by then (right Marius ?).  If need be we can hang on to one for you, but will no more Thursday,

2, Guttering is what carries water away from your roof, I think you will find it is gutting.  This is an error many youngsters on here make and in future I may well start banning people for it.

Pressurized is a real word, but yeah I know, not in the context it's used.

And no, can't sell bandana's at the game because I won't be there due to geographic issues.

what are the chances next year of the fever designing their own bandanna? Maybe one with all the phoenix signatures, or a yellow bandanna with footballs on it?? or maybe a retro ricki??i dont know just  a thought? one_eyed_nik2008-10-22 12:17:44
