So a while ago wamackie, a notorious anti nix forumer over on 442, and myself had a little wager on the nix license situation. Payment is well past due and he's offered to either buy a kids season pass to the nix or donate to a YF charity.

A charity is probably more productive, as much as buying a seasons pass is poetic. So, despite temptation, I've chosen the charity solution.

I guess Yackall isn't doing a givealittle / season pass thing this year, so wheres the best place for him to donate?

Yeah sorry for lack of updates on that front. Was going to be posting something soon. With the funds we still have, the #FeverDreams fund for RMHW is still healthy so wasn't going to ask this year as to let people donate to other things rather than have more money sitting there.

If they can, the Wellington City Mission along with their Top 10 will also be collecting cash, so be nice if it can go there. Details for donations should be coming throguh soon.

Matt, will the collection points be on the concourse around 6pm? My boy's in the junior club parade & has to be there at 6:15, and would be cool if he could make donation on way in.

Nothing on stuff, nothing in the dompost website. I just new we should have gotten Moss to boof some chick in the parapalegic toilet at the airport to get some headlines and attention.

Anyway, Matt, any indication on how much was raised?

Yeah, so we didn't get a lot of support from the newspapers not for a lack of trying. The Hutt News was very nice and printed an ad for us on their back page but from Dom Post we just go a very little blurb in the Capital Day page.

Despite all that, we did really well. Don't have the numbers yet but they are very happy with the food they collected and we collected more cash than last season as well. So thank you to everyone that donated.

While it would have been nice to have an article before the collection to advertise it, at least the newspaper acknowledge the work Yellow Fever and LFC Wellington did for the City Mission

Heard a few things about the #7, Afghan winger who used to be at Nice, prone to crumbling when put under pressure!

So what is everyone bringing? Thinking I’ll go a bit different and bring deodorant. It’s also number 8 in the starting XI - Paul Ifill.
