I've been looking forward to the Australian version of the FA/Chatham Cup and was really excited for 2012 until I discovered 10 mins ago that the Nix are not going to be part of this as its a New Zealand club.

Is this correct?  We are not allowed to play in the OFC, AFC & Chatham Cups and are now being excluded from the FFA Cup. 

I find this more then a bit distressing as my local team here in Wales (Cardiff City) can play in the English League and FA Cups but is banned from Welsh tourneys much like the Nix is from kiwi ones.

The latest government reveiw of aussie football recommended the FFA Cup be delayed, so doubt it will be happening next year.

Thanks for pointing this out.  It might still cause some future problems though.
