Think Sail should have done better with his palm - maybe the wind playing a part??

What a shot from LBS! Deserved to go in the way it was heading probably not enough power on it which give sail time to make the save. LBS has been our best player so far

That strike from LBS was fantastic.   Ollie had to do a dang good shot stop and the following up was amazing.

Lol commentators no idea. Talking about Sutton making the foul, which he didn’t do. No card for that guy, but for Sutton for kicking the ball away?

EDIT: they’ve figured out who their players are and it was Timmins for the original infringement.

Feel like the pitch is starting to cut up - could get tricky latter in the game

Great save by Josh, ever since he came back after AKH spell he’s been very solid.

LKH really needs to learn how to header a ball! Such an odd weakness for a kis his size.

Jeez, it's not a great game is it. But we're doing well.

Perth's delivery in to the area is poor. We're benefitting from that. And a lot of daft fouls.

First half playing similar to last season in some ways, defending in numbers and looking to pounce on counter attack.. while creating “high percentage chances”.. let’s see how it works out this season

Think the refs have set the foul bar very high, which is good in wet conditions, even though Nagasawa won’t be thanking them just now.
And Risdon is a niggly prick as always.

Well well well. we got the lead and kept it to the break. Very well done. The midfield needs to take control more and protect the defence but all n all we are going ok. Be interesting to see how the subs change the game later on.

weather might suit us. especially with the strong wind.

I'm not sure that there is actually much wind there. Just useless Aussie commentators talking complete bollox again.

It’s ok, they’re in the Goldilocks zone.

While early in the preseason, I don't think losing Suts and Wootts are big loses. LBS is owning Sutts.

Sail not doing himself favours either.

Excellent press. Nix want the ball more. LBS POTM so far, looks too good for this level already.
New kids Loke, especially, and Smith doing well. Poor shot by GSR, and a blunder by Hughes, I think, but really not much to fault. Deserved lead.

Commentary out of Australia across all football codes is piss poor. They were utter sharke for the Lions Australia game too. Sadly NZ is often not much better.

I think we look a lot faster from the back. LBS, darn, I thought it had gone steaight in till LKH tapped in. Young team growing. There will be mistakes but seeing them today and against Wrexham, they are giving me hope. Thus could ge a very good squad.

I agree. We can hold a higher line without Woots.

I still feel like this is more a squad for the 26/27 than this year currently.

The youth are looking good, but still very raw.

Is Pounds shattered? Otherwise I don't see why we are taking the game's biggest threat by far off.

Wow some of you need to remember they have only been training for 3 weeks still plenty of time for big improvements. Me im more than happy with what i have seen in the last couple of games if they continue to progress this season could be some fun. Some of you need to chill out and stop being so dam critical this early in the season.

GET YOUR SHIRTS OFF FOR THE BOYS
