Yay. Yet another outlet for Miron to mouth off at the FFA during the season. We will have coaches complaining every single week that so-and-so was diving and should be suspended. Players get booked for trying to get another player cautioned during the game, what will the FF-Ail do when coaches try to do the same post-match?

Tune in for more double standards.

yeh it seems like the FFA are becoming more and more mickey mouse. First there was the GC, then the response about the All Whites game, and now this.

It smacks of pandering to the rest of Australia who view round ballers as a bunch of diving poofs. Is it going to do anything to help the game?

NO.

It is just going to give more support to the thugery and crap eminating from Muscat et al.

Are there any other leagues in the world that do this, or is the FFA making up a uniquely Australian bunch of turd rules...?

What happens when a penalty that wins a game is later said to be a dive by the FFA?

Sounds like this is an FFA-only ruling, the news article notes 'first league in the world' to have mandatory results for diving in a game.

And yeah, I am guessing they're wanting to turn the A-Leagues into AFL or something.

The last thing the A-League needs is more blatant thuggery to turn the families away from bringing along the kids.

I don't quite see how getting tough on diving will make the players behave more roughly than they currently do. And the SPL already has this kind of system I was lead to believe.

Sounds like a great idea, maybe we will get back to proper football

That would be the era of Francis Lee the greatest diver the English game ever had.
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.
