I think you should include a "bottom half of the table"
But I am hoping for a solid start and anything around midtable
is a good result.

Not sure if i had another column but i would assume you know there is only 8 teams and 3 make the play offs so that leaves only probably 2 spots below mid table

I think you guys should try and aim for play-offs but don't expect
to be there.
You should try and avoid what queensland roar does and
actually win more than 2 home games a year and make teams annoyed
they have to go to wellington to play like what the AFL teams have
to do when they have to go to Perth.
I would say your squad isn't that good but only 4 NZ Knights
players may have gotten a game for any other side last year and
Ricki still won most of there last 7 so i think you guys will
finish 6th.

looks far too good to finish at the bottom.

it.
pheonix will play alright football. but wont be good enough as
the rest of the a-league teams will be pretty competitive this

True we have alot of A League castoffs, many whom I'd
personally not sign... but LAST, come on mate. 
That will be Perth with out a doubt, then either Queensland or
Central Coast, with those two followed by us.
You just watch and see!
I.E we finish FIFTH!!!!

Frankly Melbourne isn't what it was last season. Good but not
good enough.
Confident that the Phoenix will damage a lot of
reputations.

I honstly think that we could shoot a chance at a top 4
finish. There is no reason that we cant, there is some quality
signings... I think anything below 5th is not good enough..we need
to make an impact in the A-league. The knights left alot of people
laughing-

with some of the players we seem to be snapping up the season
should be a good one. I only have a wee fear that all this
enthusiasm will be destroyed by early season losses... just like
alot of kiwis we need to be more than fair weather supporters... i
used to go to the knights whenever i could. It was a heartbreaking
experience watching them throw away game after game! but now some
real hope for professional football in NZ! Go the Phoenix!
