Alright, look out for Clint Mathis. He can be really good, or really really bad. In fact, it is usually his role to blow up and step on a players arm, rather than Kevin Harmse.

Chris Klein is the steady workhorse, and got the MVP for last season. He scored the goal of the season with a beautiful bicycle kick in the Superliga final against Pachuca.

I suspect the defenders will be entertainingly dreadful, though hope springs eternal for Ruud boy to change his mind about how he lays them out.

We'll see.

So what about the 'Nix?

Ruud should quit LA and come to the A-leauge to take over Northern THunder. (Worst football club name in history.)

These radio commentators are terrible! Like a bunch of blokes at the pub. They didn't even bother describing the goal.

Oh, they've just realised it's Paston, not Moss!

Damn no wonder they scored, Moss is on the bench and Paston is in goals.

They really aren't illuminating it much, are they...better than dead silence though.

I think they're rugby boys. They mentioned the sevens, also Carlos Spencer, that well known penalty taker.

Sounds like the crowd is pretty loud . . . but BAD decision by the Phoenix management for not securing the Yellow Fever supporters section.  A great time for the club to sell the game, the team and the atmosphere . . . Yellow Fever is the atmosphere.

Sure it's exciting just the same, but the club would have benefited from having the tifo, flags and chants from the Fever getting the new fans exposed to their local club and its passion.
