Especially when its so sh*te. Swear most of it was techno, felt like i was at a rave or something. The ads at halftime were ridiculously loud, couldnt even talk to the person next to you without yelling at the top of your lungs to hear each other.

Are the FFA a bunch of 13 year old 'E' users?

Much worse than usual tonight.  It kills the atmosphere somewhat, trying to compete with 40,000watts of doof doof.

I would have been happy if they played 'at the stadium'

As far as I know, the Presets and The Potbelleez got a 2 year contract that meant their music could be used for anything the FFA and A-league wanted. So I think that everything may be sanctioned by the FFA for the finals.

Music you heard.
The Presets - Talk like that. Pre Game
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUb8bDtla-8
The Potbelleez - Don't Hold Back - Half Time.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WxAXmHa0--I&feature=fvw
The Potbelleez- Are you with me - Full Time.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J39WUUSWm4w

I think that the presets were contracted on for the use of their music. hence why it was used in the 08/09 A-League ad.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DO16v2UxvPg

And the Potbelleez played at the 2008 Grand final.

So obscure, but there is a reason for everything. Correct me if i'm wrong.Stefan2010-02-22 01:28:04

$$ certainly determine what is played. Pretty sure the same crap was foisted on the 26 people who turned up for the GCU v Jets last night.

Yes they did a survey of the Tards fans and 98% of them said that they had the Presets and the Ptbelleez on their stolen iPhones!

I've been banging the stupidly loud and annoying music drum for as long as my other pet dislike - stadium food, since day one. Glad to see others have finally had enough.

Oh and speaking of food. any of you fans that have been to a game in Aussie, how does our crap compare to their offers? I hear the food over in Oz offered at games  would put ours to shame - not too hard.

Back to the music, At the CCM game it was so loud that even the stadium speakers over near Aisle 12 were distorting. I thought it was going to stuff them.

Lastly, it was nice to see Rugby adverts at a minimum for once.

It would have been nice to actually savour the crowd atmosphere instead of having to listen to loud music, I dont have a proble with music generally but for christsake they werent allowing even a second of silence....and I missed the ususal music leading up to the game...lol

Ive never seen a rugby advert during the football except for last night when they advertised next weeks hurricanes game. So id say there was more last night than usual?

Usually you get the stadium adverts which are 90% rugby orientated despite Football, Cricket being played there and of course concerts.

Loud music is alright. Just as long as its something we can all sing along to and doesn't end when the ref is waiting to blow the whistle. I think it should stop after the teams pictures are done and they run into their positions. Gives us plenty of time to cheer and chant.

There was about 20 seconds of silence, and FTR it was very respectfully done (totally OT, but I saw some irony in your comment).

The music was sh*te. They didn't play the usual song at the beginning of each half for us to chant to, and they had some sh*t techno mix of a Black Eyed Peas song going before the second half started.

I'd rather they not play any music, than listen to that sh*te again.

Bring back Johnny Cash!!

Totally agree on the music...it was crap. Why the hell did they blare that shiite at us...especially at the end when the lads were doing the lap of honour. It completely drowned out the fever zone.

MEMO to the stadium operators.....it is not rugby....we can generate our own atmosphere!!!!!

If the YF are chanting...shut the F**k up!!!!!!

Sure hope Tony P is on to this
