Yeah I know it's gold but don't think any seats in that stadium are $65 better than any other.

Are the foundation members free ticket gold,or are they considered plebs?

If they are scrounging around for a free ticket, you bet your ass they are plebs.

This. If you're sitting at half way you're feckin miles away from the pitch.

If you don't like the price, don't buy a ticket?

I think the prices seem reasonable.

Don't think I'll go though because flights from Dunedin are fucking expensive.

Id have thought The higher price just represents the rising scarcity of a ticket more than it representing the value of one plastic yellow seat over another.

Cheers mate. Trip of a lifetime this will be :)

Seriously?

In all honesty, while Wellington is nice I think you might be a bit disappointed.

I'm originally from Wellington, am one of those Kiwis that has moved across the ditch.

Excited to be able to watch West Ham live. That's the main drawcard for me.

$35 tickets on Grab A Seat atm for the Auckland game.

Does this mean Foundation members can have their own complimentary ticket plus buy 4 more, or own ticket plus buy 3 more?

More gold in Wellington than Auckland from seating maps....but then we already knew that eh ;>).  My silver season Aisle 25 seems to  translate to gold for double header..will see what Ticketek say.    Hopefully I can select seat elsewhere.

I'm all for tiered pricing. It's win for all really. Those with money to burn can contribute to the Club coffers while at the same time also slightly subsidising prices for those in entry level seats.

Just rang up ticketek asking about how many tickets could be purchased per membership and got told a max of 10 tickets could be purchased for the Wellington double header...? I don't think that's right. I'm after 4 adults and 2 kids tickets, is that gonna be do able?

Allocation is up to four tickets per membership - ie. you plus 3 more, regardless of whether it's free or paid.

Here we have a club that bemoans not being able to sign up season tickets holders, and here we also have a foundation gold ticket holder who wonders why the club does sweet FA for season ticket holders. Each year there seem to be promises that we'll get various benefits but they never materialise, it's all talk no action.

Reviewing my e mails for the week, I am asked to renew my season ticket but apparently have no opportunity to buy tickets for the Premier League games because I am not also a club member.

Having said that, the communication from the club is so bad you wouldn't really know what is going on and that is I guess where things are at.

Can anyone clarify - can a season ticket holder buy tickets to these games now???

Hi there,
I"m very concerned by your comments.
A renewal email went to all of our season ticket holder and club members last Wednesday at midday to coincide with the announcement. We have information for renewal on the website currently and have reminders through facebook and on this forum. http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/wellingtonphoenix/membership

The benefits for season ticket holders are numerous, from discounted tickets to games, to parking, merchandise and exclusive events. To top it off, you can purchase Football United Tour tickets three weeks before they go on public sale and at a considerable discount.
All benefits are outlined at the time of purchasing and throughout newsletters sent regularly during the season - but we need people to keep their email addresses up to date and not unsubscribe from our In the Nix newsletters. How would you prefer we communicate to you?

As a season ticket holder, you can purchase up to four tickets to the Football United tour double header in Wellington and up to 8 in Auckland. They are available as an add on when you purchase or you can add them after purchase by logging back in, or phoning 04 384 2457.

If you have not received a renewal email - which I presume you haven't - please phone the Ticketek hotline above and they will renew your season ticket and add on Tour tickets.

Thanks.

Ok, here you go:

Any questions - phone Ticketek membership hotline on 04 384 2457.

Tickets are on sale to renewing members only now. You have to log in to the Ticketek membership site to purchase these and you have to have renewed your 2-13/14 membership first. Sales will be processed at the end of each day and checked for accuracy.
Wellington - four tickets per membership maximum (ie. you (member) + 3).
Auckland - eight tickets per membership maximum (ie. you (member) + 7).
Foundation members receive one ticket per membership complimentary.

Ticketek waitlist is open now to receive names for a pre-sale on 16 May if you have friends that are not members. YF will also receive a pre-sale on 16 May via password. Sign up to the waitlist at: http://premier.ticketek.co.nz/shows/show.aspx?sh=EPLWAIT

12 May: New Memberships on sale, you can add on Football United tickets to your new membership at the member discounted price. Sign up to be a new member via http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/wellingtonphoenix/membership

16 May: Pre-sales start to Football Family, YF, Phoenix partners and Ticketek wait list presale.

19 May: Public Sale for Auckland & Wellington (Ticketek)

21 May: Public Sale for Dunedin (Ticket Direct)

All information here: http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/wellington.../unitedtour

Forgive me if this has already been asked...I brought a new membership and added 4 United tickets to the order - as I was asked to and allowed to on the website and my credit card details were taken. Are we now saying that I didn't actually buy these 4 tickets and that I can't because I am not a renewing member? i have a confirmation email from ticketek saying I've purchased them.

But you would have had to have been a member to log on to the website?  Is there a "new" membership option yet?

As noted above, new season tickets and memberships on sale from 12 May.

WTF does it have to do with them? Money for nothing. Dome did the donkey work, the club should reap the rewards not the ffa who  probably want to have some free tickets for the executives.

We'll be fine, West Ham and Newcastle can hardly be classes as "giants" of Europe. When was the last time either of them featured in the Champions League?

I cant remember the source but I think you will find that Newcastle are a very big club by income standards anyway. It depends on their definition which they will need to provide at some point

It's just stupid. The A-League should be encouraging the clubs trying to raise the profile of the game rather than the reverse. I don't understand the reasoning behind that.

I'm sure there are more gold seats than bronze so not sure how that scarcity of tickets argument is working?

More than happy to pay $35. $75 is starting to push it a bit and $100 is starting to get silly. All IMO if course.

If it sells out, then we'll know the prices were right I guess.

Has someone got a seating plan please.  I'm trying to organise a group from CHCH (got flights and accommodation already) just waiting on the ticketek pre-sale. Be handy to know location and prices please....

Looks like a slightly larger FZ and reduced silver zone.

What's a "Supporters Zone"?  Is that for travelling WHam and Toon Army?

YF zone is between aisles 20 and 23 I think.

Thanks for that.  Might go for the traditional silver seats we sat in last time just next to the YF.

VimFuego - Here are the two venue maps directly from Ticketek. We understand that in Wellington NUFC are booking aisles 19-20 and WHUFC aisles 34-36 which are the two blue supporters zones (Boxey no flares or any other 70's apparel). For Wellington, the bronze seats are the cheapest ($35 to members), Silver, YF and supports zones are $75 to members. For Auckland same seats are $35/$65 for members. Gold are $99/$79.

Sweet ta.  Do we have prices for the double-header yet for non-members.  Someone said $60 for adults, and $45 each-ish for a family ticket (x4).  Can anyone confirm?

Why would they put NUFC right next to the Zone, when we are playing against them. Makes waaaay more sense to put West Ham in there so we can join them in cheering against Sydney FC.

Smithy - It surprised me when I heard the same from the NZ mags. No matter we'll be happy with the larger seat allocation. Make a change to stand at the way end. Come and join us, come and join us.....#YFstreetparty #cockneykneesup

I just got an email from Nix to say that they're swapping it round. That's awesome - having you guys next to us will be best.

Now, Northerner-baiting chants: go :)
