Football United - July 2014 West Ham and Newcastle visit
CF postponing all footy on the day
Dear god. Common sense?
Dear clubs,
As you are well aware by now, football clubs West Ham United, Newcastle United and Sydney FC are coming to New Zealand as part of the Football United tour and will play a double header at Westpac Stadium on Saturday, July 26.
Kick off times are still to be confirmed as the Hurricanes may have a home semi-final on that day however, Capital Football will postpone men’s football on Saturday, July 26 in order to give every member of the football community the chance to be part of what promises to be an amazing event for the Capital.
The games will be rescheduled and played before the conclusion of the 2014 season.
Will be interesting if the canes do end up with a home semifinal on THAT DAY...
Triple header!!

Well you can bet your ass its not at Westpac then....

Also that probably shows that Westpac Stadium have prioritised the Football United event above the Super Rugby semi final, which shouldn't really be a surprise but I think it is considering the Rugby-heavy culture we live in.

Have already renewed my foundation membership - how do we get the free ticket?
Do we have to apply for it? Or will our season ticket card just work?
Geez, Peter are you are the only person here who has their photo as their avatar? Or is this someone famous.
Rang Ticketek group booking line today to get the horses mouth details for buying my tickets on Friday on the waiting list pre-sale. Was told they don't have the exact figures however the tickets you guys are getting are at a 25% discount, so the silver tickets will be $100 each, Gold $125 and family passes $220 I think. Hope it all goes smoothly on Friday!

He's a reasonably infamous Young ACT Party activist, I believe.
Haha, old photo from the old forum when you used to be able to link your Facebook profile.
Back in 07/08/09 I remember more people having real photos too - was useful for recognising forum people at games or the Backbencher.
<<<< Is that better? :D
So. Feenix have done us a solid and given us a special presale period this weekend.
If you don't want a season ticket (or can't renew yet) and you are a Fever fan you can get in early.
Details are in our Pandemic newsletter that went out today: http://eepurl.com/UH4QP
Anyone been charged for tickets yet?
Thanks for that. Might go for the traditional silver seats we sat in last time just next to the YF.
VimFuego - Here are the two venue maps directly from Ticketek. We understand that in Wellington NUFC are booking aisles 19-20 and WHUFC aisles 34-36 which are the two blue supporters zones (Boxey no flares or any other 70's apparel). For Wellington, the bronze seats are the cheapest ($35 to members), Silver, YF and supports zones are $75 to members. For Auckland same seats are $35/$65 for members. Gold are $99/$79.
I wanna get seats in the silver section which is in between the YF section and before it goes gold. Does anyone know what the number of that aisle is? Thanks

Ticketek are being very unhelpful over the phone, hopefully you guys can help me out. Won't give out any info on seats and prices (despite some of it being one their website) and said I have to wait until tomorrow at 9am to find out anything. Makes it a challenge trying to sort 12 people!

I'd say it is between aisles 23-24. The screen is between aisles 18-19.
Sweet thanks guys. Good idea to look there.
Single seats only left for Bronze tickets

I thought YF zone in Auckland was behind the goal? It's telling me YF zone is 402 in the north stand which is to the side?

So there's two YF zones? How do I get in the other one then

Tickets bought for Wellington! Looking forward to your hospitality!
Mate was trying to purchase tickets for Auckland yesterday said he was told by Ticketek that the Zone was moving so they weren't confirming seats yet.

WTF? Why are they moving it? Behind the goal is perfect... that's why it got put there...

Nix twitter confirms that the Zone is still located in the areas marked in yellow on the map above, so I have no idea what ticketek are on about.
When I try to buy tickets for YF zone online it puts me in the North Stand section..
2 silver tickets for Wellington booked in the presale, aisle 24-25. Chose ezyticket and the confirmation email states the tickets are attached but there's no attachment. Weird as I always use this method and the tickets usually come with the confirmation email. Have sent Ticketek an email to check but I guess they will just come at a later date.

“The West Ham v Sydney game will kick off at 2pm with Newcastle United taking on the Phoenix at 4.30pm”.
Encouraging.
