Sorry for what may appear to be a silly question, but can
someone explain to me who is Retro Ricki? Why is his image
worn on a shirt?
I am following the Phoenix from the USA. I want
to learn the essentials of being a Phoenix fan and apparently
this is one of them.

Ricki Herbert is the coach of Wellington Phoenix. He played in NZ's
only World Cup in 1982. Thus the dated picture on the t-shirt.

a hard rock band formed in New York City in 1976 by veteran
musicians Mick Jones and Ian McDonald, along with then unknown
vocalist Lou Gramm (Louis Grammatico).
