That doesn't mean GCU are performing financially. It just means they have an owner who can bail them out if he chooses.

Your right, but the previous comment was that they were going bust.
GCU have not made one cent, so Palmer is forking out big time.
If I had 4 billion plus I'm sure putting a few million a year into a club would'nt faze me.

Me too, but owners can be capricious. If he got pissed off, Palmer could walk away and leave GCU stranded. (The same goes for Chelsea and Abramovich, given how much money Chelsea lose each year.)

Its a fact that GCU's attendances have struggled though. And thats where the need for the free day comes in. Furries is clearly from cash,and probably to show FFA they're worth saving.
