So, the yellow card.

Kwabena ran onto the field after Ridenton scored, and the rest of the bench followed him on. He turned around and saw the AR signalling for a yellow, so got back to the bench as quickly as he could and left Danaskos hanging to pick up the yellow card.

It's all quite funny really.

Sounds like we'll have to tell the club that we need more Red Badge security policing the Zone when a bumper croud is expected. Which is a shame, but seems like it might be necessary.

Appears to be the same two Patrick. I think The Fun Police should/would be picking them up off the CCTV but the guy doing the looking lost more than anything. Needed Marley up there.

Fixed my grammer and spelling. Patrick, was there ever a plugin keyboard for a Tab 3? This touch screen is doing my head in.

I'm all for more Marley but I reckon we should self police (nark to security if you see unacceptable behaviour).

There's quite a clear difference between accidentally dropping your beer or spilling every where in excitement (I've been covered in my own beer after many a goal) and hoofing it half way down the zone.

I think the guy that got ejected last time was for throwing shark so if it happened again I hope he gets in proper trouble.

Two more things-

1) Can we sign Djite? At any cost?

2) We REALLY need a song for Krishna, like a proper song

which is why it's insane that they think a third Sydney team when the second Melbourne team is a failure.

Djite is interesting.  He wouldn't always suit the way we play but a player like him as a Plan B would make our attack amazing.  When we run into a team aiming just to stop us playing you have another option.

On that subect.  Adelaide are pretty cynical.  While the world faps on about Spanish style, if you take the ball into the central 25 yards you will get fouled.

Thought Williams did well (that was hard to type) to try and stop it happening early but then kind of switched off to it.  We got fouls our way but little consequences for the players doing it beyond the first 15 minutes or so.

Also Goodwin and Jeggo are two of the most punchable players in this league.

We need people pointing out the cods to red badge so they get thrown out.
If I'd seen who threw the drink that hit the female beside me last night. I'd have thrown them out.

I like the comment about Djite. I was thinking what a big unit he is when you see in on the park and not on TV. We could defi ately do withhim or so eone of similar size playing up front. Our short two would have a field day feeding him and feeding off him for goal scoring opportunities.

Awesome night - no words left to describe Bonevacia! Would have loved to see jeff score just to top the night off, will do good for his confidence and came so close.

1 small rant: To the dick behind us in the zone saying "that's why I'm not a season ticket holder" when we went down 1-0 and then taking the piss out of the chants for 90 minutes - I hope you reconsider your thoughts for the next home game

Friday night footy.  Always going to have some dickheads.

Just at the start of the second half we had some drunkish guy wander up to the top of the Aisle 23 and stand at the back next to us.  He said bugger all but every now and then let out some sort of cheer/cry that had very little bearing on the game.

Then when things started to get going for the Nix he sort of joined in but was mostly out of step/time.

He left after about 20 mins.

Weird.

And definitely a rather dampener on the vibe around us so it was quite nice when he stumbled off.

What a fecking brilliant night. Dragged Jr out of bed (hospital , not home) and we had a blast. We sat 2 along from David Dome for the first half , he was really into it , up and down all night. Great to see. I thought the Stadium was a bit quiet for a couple of seconds after Roly's strike , almost as if no-one could believe he'd just done that. Then the place erupted.

Very pleased for Ridenton as well. Gulley got turned a few times but that boy has got some wheels , always able to recover and he doesn't look out of place.

How good is the Hapi Daze at the Garage Project stand outside 26/27? Just saying..

I think you are right about Roley and the silence and why. I have been banging on about this for some time. You dont have to be 6 feet out to score goals. Try the odd 20 yarder or more just to keep the goalie on his toes.

But what a strike. Absolutely, Positively, Awesome.

Totally agree.  The control to the side of the box is good but if we don't mix it up then teams will isolate us.

Sometimes when the striker feels it he's got to back himself.

Roly has hit a lot of stray long shots - as Ernie said in the post match comments, he was hoping he wouldn't go for it. It's a low percentage option - but one that paid off this time! Great shot.

Makes Danaskos a good trivia question, first player to get a yellow card before they have even debuted in the A-League.

Had a couple of cheeky dollars on both Krishna to score and Nix to win 4-1 and Roly to score and Nix to win 4-1.

Would've won $350 from $4 had that 89th min Adelaide goal not gone in.

Great win though, got no complaints!

NO NO NO and again NO not sure when this shift was made. We had a few things like this in the early days and it was quickly shut down by the regulars in the zone. Afraid if we cant sort this out ourselves without involving Red Badge then im afraid im out.

i do not condone throwing cups of beer into the croud but feel it is always going to happen in a bigger croud and on a friday night, i do not drink but have no problem with people who are. over the years at the football i have seen many cups of half full beer go flying up in the air when a goal is scored, it happens in the moment most of the time and is mostly not people doing it to be nasty or trying to hit people more over excited and a bit drunk.

i also thought they had a camera system in the stadium that can be gone over to pick out this sort of behaviour and take the out of control people out after the event. before the game on friday there was a young guy drinking out of a can, not long after he opened it a security guard walked down to him from somewhere and gave him a plastic cup to put his drink in and took the can away

10,000 would be an endorsement of our "call to arms". Mix that in with warmer weather, families and a Sunday kick-off and we could be back to the +10,000 days. Indeed when you look back over the stats (not using the word metrics), crouds are linked to performances if you ignore the novelty of the first season.
