I just broke the news on Adelaide's board that they've signed a Brasilian left back called Cassio - a really good player, probably on a par with Daniel but a little more defensively minded...

Anyway, whilst on here I've been greeted and treat nicely by football lovers - over on the Adelaide board I've been accused of being a liar, etc.  They really are a bitter bunch, are they not?

MF - says the same thing on this forum as well...  You not too observant, eh?

As to my football allegiance?  All teams in Australia/New Zealand equally.  Watched Victory vs Roar from the press box at TD last season (I'm NOT a journalist, perish the thought) - very poor game, crying out for quality - Muscat head and shoulders above anything on the pitch and Fred having a bad day.  Daniel (Nix) and Cassio (Adelaide) will add a bit more quality to the league.

Back home I grew up in Sunderland and still follow them.  In Brasil I'm the same as here - I just love the game, although Botofago have a special place in my heart.

As to the writing - seems like lately all I've been writing are cheques and memos - but in the past I've worked on a few films.  Have an office at a major law firm at the moment, but I'm not actually doing anything for them and not on salary.

Soon.  That's not being cryptic - something is happening, but I don't know if it'll be a day or a week.

So you dont support any a-league team you must surely support someone.

Honestly.  None of the clubs have been around long enough to get into my heart.  Melbourne's such a big place that I don't feel any affinity with the club - if there was a club closer to where I live, so I could walk to the ground like I used to back in England, then it'd happen.

I'll support a single A-League club 100% just as soon as I manage to get a franchise of my own!

Right now, I'll support the league and hope that Melbourne don't win again this year - it's important to share the title around whilst the league is in its infancy, not kill off interest elsewhere.
