The hipflasks have flares in them. It's a double bluff...

Everything makes so much sense now! ;)

I wonder what Auckland Phoenix's story is? [awaits attack from AP that alludes to me knowing nothing because I'm old, support the NZF appeal etc etc ]

There is an FAQ thread somewhere but pretty much just ask for a Fever Zone ticket when you buy it.

General rule of the Fever is squeeze in wherever you want but if someone has the ticket for the seat you are standing in move over and let them in.

Is there a secret handshake? If I have to take my shirt off, how do I hide the hip flasks gaffer taped to my chest? What happens if I accidentally say "this is a great soccer game"?

If you still have the flasks gaffer taped to your chest by the time for shirts off then the zone isnt for you.

Read and understood.

good you also said hip flask and not flare

The hipflasks have flares in them. It's a double bluff...

We don't need no Free Thinking Hipsters in the Zone.

Kids today,, they don't know nuffink! ;)

So after all that, I can't make the game on Friday - first weekend in ages without child so the Mrs. and I are doing the dinner and movie thing (which given she allows me to play cricket all day Saturday I think is fair).

To support the 'Nix however, I've chucked a Tweet up (@LeighboNZ) and the first person to reply to that, I'll shout 2 x $10 tickets for them to the game to take my place!

"...sure beats doin' stuff."

Dude, you have always been supportive towards Nix things in the past.  You are being harsh on yourself. I wish the FFA showed as much support.

Cheers - just happy someone is going in my place who may not have previously...and the silver lining is that I get to have dinner with the missus and a few beers with friends before seeing SPECTRE.
