I can't see an easy way to view the full squad for the Phoenix. Can someone please put together one page that can be accessed from the home page with squad members. Doesn't have to contain much ... shirt number and a tiny profile would do nicely.

Good call.  It should be on the club site but they don't seem to have created it yet.

We'll add it to the to do list.

is there only 4 defender there?

Lochead
Old
O'Dor
Dodd

Considering we can only sign 1 other non under 20 player, I imagine that will be one more

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

Technically, you could list Daniel as a defender as his more natural position is left-back/wing-back rather than orthadox left wing.

So 4 spots left - 2 will be under 20's and one will have to be a 3rd keeper

Say we need a right back/right sided central defender who can play in a three man defence - what about John Perry? He's experienced at this level, he's a kiwi and he's already in the country.

Cleberson, Boxall, Keane, RB.

...or we change our plans and name O'Dor as an Under-20.

Gee looking at the squad i really thought some more knights players would have survived after the way Ricky had them going last year.  Oh well onwards and upwards.

A Kingz shirt made with gold thread and diamonds on the badge is still worthless :-) Toffeeman2007-06-27 11:09:58

Its no longer a problem.

dazzla, most of the knights players worth keeping signed elsewhere pretty quickly. im sure they would have liked to keep a few of them.

I guess a lot of it would have come down to job security. Y would u stay at a club or stick around knowing its going under?

Yea it was all up in the air there for a bit! Would have liked to see Neil Emblen stay with the club, he was quality and could play anywhere on the park!

Wots all this talk about Jon Perry??? he was fairly reliable but never would hav been up to A-league standard.........

Sorry Feverish, "he" in your post refers to whichi player, Cleberson or Dodd?
Permalink Permalink
over 18 years ago · edited over 13 years ago
OK that's what I thought. I was referrring to Dodd being capable of playing on the right, not Cleberson. Should've made that clearer in my post. i.e. swap Dodd and Cleberson over

Cleberson is a center back. He played at Cabofriense in Brazil, he has also played at Al-Wahda in Saudi Arabia. 29 years old, 182 cm tall and 82kg heavy. Can also take corners. An excellent signing from Ricki. Now just give the team sometime to gel.

Maybe the Phoenix should sign Brent Fisher he has overseas experience, im not a kiwi and i dont live in NZ so i dont know how good he is but he has 4 goals in 9 appearences.

Would Christian Bouckenooghe be avaliable he can play defender or midfielder and is in Belguim second division so he is gettable you would think.

Is Ivan Vicidlich still a free agent?
