Heres a bit of fun on Sunday the 7th at 1pm before the game...
Four Kings will be hosting a charity event on behalf of the Child Cancer Foundation. The foundation are amazing buch of people who need all the assistance they can get.
We will be hosting the game show 'Game Of Two Halves' Live at the pub.
The sports celebs so far are Marc Ellis, Christian Cullen, Pero Cameron, Wynton Rufer, Miles Davies, Keith Quinn and John Macbeth and maybe Greenie ( our Greenie).
We ask a $20 donation on the door that will go to the Child Cancer Foundation, this includes a beer, nibbles and a bus down to the game.
Pre sales are available for anyone interested so why not make a day of it. we would love to see you there.

How full's it likely to get? Going up to Wellington with a mate and will be staying in Porirua. Don't want to show up and be turned away as it's packed, you see.

Or alternatively, head to the Backbencher if Kings is full.

I'd really love to go but I'm sure my group (students) won't have the money. All the best though!

Probably shouldn't 'book' them or anything as I can't definitely go as I'll be with a group of many, including, probably, a few minors.
See what happens on Sunday, though.

Pre sales are available now. The tickets are printed and ready to go.
With respect to some comments so far, Marc has been training for a 10km ocean swim to raise money for child cancer. Petone to Oriental Bay is no mean feat. He is doing the swim on Monday and game of two halves on Sunday. He has trained hard for months and is doing it for a great charity. He gets nothing from it himself. That is pretty impressive in my books no matter what others think of him.
Yep, we'll be showing the Mexico game live.
The bus will probably leave half an hour before kick off.
I think thats all for now...

Hi bigdunc,
I'd added it to the calendar but I'm really quite useless when it comes to the ins and outs. I will look at it though.
I'm sure you won't mind that I used your logo for that event. Cheers.

Thanks for all your efforts bigdunc, Amanda and the team do a fantastic job for CC, we have had first hand experience of their efforts. Had planned to be there (I think it was going to be in the evening originally) but unfortunately had already sched another commitment prior to the game. But I hope to come in and see you during the week anyway. That is a big swim ahead of him.

fixed

If Wynton is in the same form as he was in at the 4K function before the All Whites Bahrein game then the night will be a hugely memorable one. Will be even better if Frank v H is there after the stick Wynton gave him last time. ALL WHTES! (clap clap clap), ALL WHITES! (clap clap clap). Go Wynton!

I though that it went really well actually, It wasnt as polished as the TV show but your never going to get that. The Celebs were great, a good few laughs and we raised a load of cash for Child Cancer. A huge thanks to everyone that came.
Good times at the after match as well, Roll on Saturday!!
