I was wondering if any of the games will be shown on internet video?  We can follow our local teams here this way for a small fee.  I won't be able to attend many matches, but would like to follow your team's season if possible.

Dont think so. If they do youd have to sign up and pay for some service.

No, I'm not a Kiwi.  I live in Atlanta, Georgia, USA and follow Atlanta Silverbacks.  You will see me posting on www.usldiscussions.com  I am a member of Westside 109.

There are several reasons for my interest in the Phoenix:
(1) There is a (very) small chance I will spend a few years in New Zealand and I can't go that long without a football team.  So this is a kind of "football-deprivation-disorder-insurance".
(2) I love under-dogs, and let's face it, when you consider the history of the Kingz and the Knights, right now the Phoenix has to be considered the under-dog of the A-League.  I have an odd feeling that this team will beat the odds and succeed.  Under-dog success is always fun to watch.
(3) Although I'm foreign I feel a certain empathy for your situation as your challenges sound very similar to ours here in Atlanta (not a traditional football town).  So even if I don't make it to New Zealand, why not help out in some very small way if it is fun and doesn't cost much?

So I'll check out SopCast.  Thanks for the tip.  And yes, I am willing to pay a reasonable fee to become a video-fan.

I hope I am not unwelcome, or have intruded in any way.  I just love football and hope to someday spend a long visit in New Zealand.
