That's a good idea, they have ridiculous names. Who has the last name Petrovski, or Pondeljak I ask you? They should not only have points deducted, they should get relegated to the 2nd tier of Australian football (whatever that might be).

Interesting you say that loyalgunner... i just read the section on wikipedia for 'nsl'

At the end of it, it has a section with all the teams that have ever been in the nsl, and it says where they are playing now... a lot of them are still in other leagues - you should look it up, it's fairly interesting. I suppose the leagues mentioned would be the '2nd tier of australian football'

from the ricki herbert interview at lunchtime. the 4-3-3 line-up  included  - Smeltz, Daniel, Elrich,  Aloisi,  Chrisitie, Johnson
Paston was also talked about as a possibliity, Felipe will be rested and Ferrante / Cleberson didn't get a mention.

Petrovski is a Macedonian name. There's at least one more guy of Macedonian background in the A-league, Naum Sekulovski.
Not sure about Pondeljak, but Mrdja sounds Serb/Montenegrin to me.

Macedonia is a greek state, not a country. F Y RO M is a political country that was made to convenience foreign powers. That aside, names are just names.
 
I hope the nix can get back to winning form, we need the 3 points here. 3 away matches comming up means we cant slip up at home.

The Mariners got John Aloisi, and while there wont be any Aloisi vs Aloisi action this week, its reason enough to smash em before that Aussie icon starts.

4-3-3 is decent, though we're already letting other teams have too much space in midfield.

Massive game a must win for us so that we keep pace with the top four and it will keep Slater off our backs.
CCM are a bloody good side even with all their injuries.We will have to be at our best.
