Last year the Phoenix travelled too play Waitakere United in a practice match which was brilliant getting the Phoenix advertised around and moved out of the capital for a week or so.
With the Phoenix also planning to go to Hawkes Bay for a couple of days and have a training session until this fell through.
Any chance of this happening again this year to play most of the NZFC teams or just going to train in the area to get the fan base wider or do you think that having a Phoenix youth team in the NZFC would be an option and the club would get a broader and wider fan base through this??

Have you not heard of the two away games in Palmy and Christchurch, and the pre season game in Queenstown?

Porirua Park tonight??

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

to be honest I think they need to organise more local friendlies first. I know we are playing in Ptown but friendlies when the full team is assembled is gonna be more of a drawcard imo
