I'm dragging my poor girlfriend along on Sunday. It'll be her first live football game. She is going to complain and stuff. It's going to be fantastic!

Don't worry. With all the noise you won't hear her.

Am excited  ...but after watching/experiencing some of our drinking friends at the PSC Final ... am hoping I don't get some alcohol obessesed *(&^&*^ sitting next to me.

Don't the drunks annoy you?
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

I'm working Sunday until 4.45pm, luckily my office is in Thorndon so...meet the girlfriend at the station, wrangle my sister from the gates, negotiate the queues, pray for a slight kick off delay, apply earplugs to muffle the inane questions from aforementioned women and I am set!

Sweeeet!

Oh. I don't think I've heard it, though I'm in aisle 21. What's the tune?

C'mon the Nix!

It's my birthday on Sunday so they better help me celebrate in style!  If not I will - atrociously drunk!

This will be the first chance I have had to come over to a Nix game, so I hope they turn it on.  I plan to make it to Welly for most game this season,

Only from sister and girlfriend

I'm not sexist (!), they just dont understand football and want to know why I have been going on (and on) about Sunday.

There's a mentoring/coaching role staring your in the face. The role may be be challenging but your are among friends and we can offer support...

I'd probably get bored listening to dumb problems and just drink and smoke instead

It never ceases to amaze me how the weather fines up for a phoenix game/event. Talking to the team today and they have the saying the the "Nix are Golden".

Fine northwest, evening showers and southerly.

Got to admit ethusiasm has been dampened by the non-arrival of our tickets.

Hopefully by tomorrow afternoon, we'll be over it and in game mode.
