With the two exceptions of Adelaide and Melbourne Victory, most of us have done fairly well in predicting it. I do notice that most of us predicted CCM in 4th or so though.

So three exceptions then?

Four. Heart are punching well above what we picked. Just noticed.

I did think that Heart were going to be better than Newcastle, so I rock

I would say the top 3 will be made up of the current lot. Roar, CCM & Heart.

I've got a feeling Heart may be a definite finisher for 1 or 2, and have the easy path into the Grand Final.

Roar need to find their sparkle again, but will the ACL cause them issues in the tail end of the season, similar with CCM.

With those top teams having a few extra games in that tail part of the season, i could see teams like ourselves, perhaps taking advantage and grabbing a easy 3rd of 4th spot from them.

We'd better win some away games if we are to do that.

Hey, back the f**k up there pal and take another look.

[QUOTE=me]The Phoenix will win the A-League.

I didn't bother picking the final table because I couldn't care less about where anybody else finishes.

For the record I believe that the game against Perth was a watershed moment for the team, a purging of the superstitious nonsense about away records and home "fortresses" and not eating airline food that moronic media like to feed foolish feeble-minded fans who lap it up and repeat and regurgitate it until it becomes a great big pile of putrid puke smothering the simple reality that it's 11 guys booting a ball around with 11 other guys on a piece of grass  and who gives a f**k where?

My prediction is that over the next two months the Nix are going to banish the away day blues once and for all, finishing the regular season in third before playing two home playoff games and then going over to Aussie to smash whoever is stupid enough to get in the way of a team who's destiny was forged in the white-hot molten metal of our awful pre-season, drawn-out ownership saga, ongoing under-resourcing, a lack of respect abroad and a lack of simple faith at home. A classic underdog story just waiting to unfold.

Whoa there buddy. I believe I also made the prediction that the Phoenix would win the A-League, and didn't qualify it as being wishful thinking either.

And after suffering derision for that prediction I intend to claim full credit when it inevitably comes true.

Disgusted in how my predictions went.

Taking my prediction placings away from the real positions (absolute values), gives me a score of 36. I am sure someone has much better scores.

[Edit: lower scores are better, means you got closer to actual]

I got 27. Picking Sydney and GCU in the right place helped me a lot.

Friends, lift your faces to the sun. The Phoenix will win the A-League. I believe this in my heart and will not surrender this belief until I actually witness the trophy being handed over to someone other than Andrew Durante. Even then I will remain sceptical that I might be subject to some kind of elaborate Capricorn One-style conspiracy to deny us the truth.

Did anyone else notice the Sky feed briefly cut out around the 70th minute, just before Mehmet allegedly scored?

When it came back there was definitely something slightly off. It was more like watching FIFA 12.

There have been massive strides made in virtual reality in the past few years, that's all I'm saying.
