I mean seriously!
Fair enough. As someone above said though, the t-shirts are so rubbish that I doubt mention of them warrants censorship.

If they're legit, then I see no threat with them being disucssed in off-topic. We don't need to endorse them - nor would we in our right mind do so! robbwatson2008-07-22 10:31:56

Huh? I signed up to a website to support a club, not to join one.

Out of protecting YF's ass, they cannot be seeming to endorsing an illegal operation - least of all one that is low quality and of direct competition. In order to keep on the good side of a) the law and b) the club, censorship can be justifiable - and often the right choice.
I use personal pronouns because I consider myself part of the Yellow Fever community. I consider pretty much everyone on this site or in the Fever Zone to be Fever - not just the mods.
I liked the Sex Pistols design - I'm probably going to get one. I don't really see the problem myself. When I saw them handing out stickers, my first reaction was, "cool - if we're attracting unofficial gear providers then we are growing up and being accepted as proper club."
Using the Yellow Fever name might contravene copyright, but we don't want to "do an Arsenal " with the Gooner name. Though this is different (to be the same, the Phoenix would have to try and claim we cannot use "Yellow Fever" without their permission). Ricki's image is I believe in the public domain, so no issue with that being used.
Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.
I can see the point about the copyrights, and the need to protect brands and the club, fair enough.
I guess that didnt come into it when the Got Pie T shirts were freely promoted on here???
Or did some of the proceeds go to the club/Yellow Fever??

It wasn't a profit making excercise... a limited run that was sold at manufactured price as I understand it.

Whoah there - take it easy big guy. This tnix joker is free to make his shirts IMHO - I just don't see how you expect people to promote it for free.
I hardly think Stirling Sports would let Rebel go and and advertise in their shop - same rules apply.Get In There Son2008-07-22 13:49:07

Point taken

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

This reminds me - I wore my Yellow Fever polo to my microbiology lab last week. Needless to say my lecturers were amused
