We need to chill out a bit here.

It's great that other people are popping up selling Phoenix supporters gear.  That shows the club's popularity is growing.

No one place can ever produce t shirts that everyone will like so there'll always be a market for more variety.

We, the Fever Exec, know that you - our members - value this place and the work that goes into running it, as well as the other things we do to support football in the community.

So far I'm fairly sure the other t shirt outfits are just in it for a quick buck but all fair play to them.

We don't like them advertising in here because it costs us a fair amount of money to run this website.  Other companies pay us either in cash or kind to advertise on here to help offset the cost.  We don't let people advertise on here for free, regardless of what they're selling.  It's not sinister and it's not censorship it's just that some people put their money in to support us and others are just keen to rip off what they can from the place.  We don't like that attitude.

We also don't like people pretending to be us.  It's called "passing off" and it aint legal.  For that very reason we didn't use the word Phoenix on any of our shirt designs.  Similarly anyone using the phrase Yellow Fever is passing themselves off as being us and thus breaking the law.  We don't like that much either.

Especially we don't like the association between Yellow Fever and the Italian (or Melbournian) Ultras movements.  We don't condone any of that sh!t at all.  So we've taken a special dislike to T Nix's YF Ultras t shirt 1) because it rips off our name and 2) because it links it to the Ultras.  T Nix can expect a letter in the post about that one.

But generally I want to call everyone back to the point Football_mum made earlier.  Anyone supporting the Nix is a friend of the Fever.  Just don't do it at other supporters' expense.

Carry on.

Wise words oh man of Smith......very well said and certainly echoing my thoughts on this subject.

Lets all support the boys.....and leave out the bickering!!!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultras

It doesn't necessarily mean violence or Green Street Wannabes, but like the term Skinhead it's original meaning has been coloured by people ignorant of it's original meanings and beliefs.

Now it is pretty much synonymous with Burberry wearing teens thinking they are hard.

Cheers HN..looking at the wikipedia site, YF fits the criteria for Ultra..always chanting, always standing, attending as many games as possible and loyal to the stand they are in  (Fever Zone)..that seems to be a good thing...as for the teens thinking they are hard............pfft

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.
