When's the last day we can collect our free tickets from Ticketek for the Palmy game?

This from the Nix newsletter:

LETS GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD

Join the Phoenix for historic Palmerston North match

FOR the first time, the Phoenix will play a Hyundai A-League competition home match away from Wellington against Sydney FC at FMG Stadium in Palmerston North on Saturday, December 12.

As Phoenix season members, you can attend this match at no extra charge. However, you will need to secure your tickets prior to the match. The cut-off date for requesting tickets to this game is 5pm on Thursday, December 10.

There are two options:

- Go to the Michael Fowler Centre box office in Wakefield Street in Wellington and present your Wellington Phoenix FC membership card. You will then be issued with a hard ticket that will gain you entry to this match; or
- Call the Wellington Phoenix FC hotline on 04 384 2457 and a hard ticket for the game will be sent to you. You will need to quote your membership number.
Please note: after the cut-off date ticket availability cannot be guaranteed. Only one ticket per member will be issued for this match.

If you are not planning on staying the night in Palmy (Jambo Ed Bar express) and do not fancy a 10.30am start (Smithy Shuttle) then PM me and I will book your seat on the officially re-named Flying Scotsman in association with Buckfast tonic wine.

I have one seat available on a 12 seater mini booze bus going to Palmy and back on Saturday 12th Dec.

We will be leaving the Backbencher Bar at 4pm and returning after the game.

$20 (includes petrol costs).

Cheers
Adam

Just wondered if there is any way we could coordinate this for those members not attending these games who may wish to give their tickets away.

May not be worth the hassle but thought it may be way of actually getting some bums on seats.

These for you neices are they?

they've both asked me if im going

Anyone NOT going and want to get bums on seats? If so, can you pass tickets on and we'll send them around. Would love to get some non footballing people along for the experience. Pm me if you have ticks :)

There are none of the std $49 one way to Chch that weekend? is that just because the game is on and they're sold out..?

Sold out months ago - I checked a while back and couldn't find anything that was less than full price.

Coming back was a bit better.

It would have taken a lot of foresight...probably why LG is such a legend.  I don't think the cheap fares are plentiful anyway and so all the hardcore must have snaffled them up quick as.

I have flights going down on the Thursday night and back on the Sunday night, unfortunately due to work committments it looks like I wont be able to make it. Flights cost $100 return, so I will be looking for someone to sell them to.

Am just looking into what the deal is with changing the name on the ticket. 1st person to PM me will get 1st dibs. GO

Who is it with and what fare type?

Air NZ do not allow transfers, but if you have a flexi fare you can get a refund (and someone else can buy it).
Jet Star do not allow transfers and don't do refunds.
Pacific Blue only allow transfers if you have a flexi fare i.e. like Air NZ flexis but you effectively preselect the someone else buying it.

I fly every week for business and while I only fly Air NZ domestically (I'm Gold Elite, so why change airlines!), I keep an eye on the competition.
