Let's be fair - Warner's been pretty good for us.

In fact, I'd like to say cheers to him for a job well done.

I'm glad Moss is back though, and an import slot freed up.

+111

Although we'll have to chip in to get Mossy a sunbed, to ease the pain of leaving the paradise that is the Gold Coast.

http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/football/6655280/All-Whites-keeper-Glen-Moss-signs-with-Phoenix

Phoenix coach Ricki Herbert said he was delighted to get Moss back to the club.

"Mossy is a top-class keeper," Herbert said.

"He was in great form last season, and it was the same this year till he picked up that injury.

"I am looking forward to having two top-class keepers at the club.'

I think we can take from this that Pasty will be staying so no kiwi youth keeper.

Well played Warner - welcome back Mossy!

Pathetic. Not apathetic.

Maybe Paston is going to Retire?

Not according to Ricki, I'm guessing the other top-class keeper he refers to is Pasty not Warner.

True, but would Paston be happy on the bench? ( not saying mossy is number 1 )

MASSIVE assumption.

Apparently Paston has the chance to study Plumbing & Gasfitting at either Whitireia Community Polytechnic or Southern Institute of Technology this year, so watch this space.

3 years! Woot.
If he's not first pick next season he will be after Paston retires this year or next.

Except it is dropping to four next season anyway.

Edit: Good to see the off season is off to a good start. Prefer not to have 3 last minute signings to fill out the squad if possible.rjmiller2012-03-29 08:58:19

Well considering he had to organise Hearfield at right back for so long..I'd say he'd be great with sorting out tools...

Funny the news of Moss signing was known well before the club officially announced it. Wonder if he'll be disappointed he didn't get the "major player announcment to come" treatment.
