Any ideas of when (time or date) or where the nix will be playing in the Gold Coast? I live in brisvegas with a few nix fans and we'd love to go down and check it out.

5-1 it was. 1-0 at half time.4 goals in the last 25mins, they scored in the 93min.
The Nix looked rusty, lots of attack but blunt at the sharp end until our one real striker came on. Opposition is pretty average, they are half way through their season. Actually I wanted Broadbeach to leavel at 1-1 to hopefully wake the Nix up!

Talking to nixinoz who was at the game. He has promised to give you all a comprehensive report on the game played last night.

He tells me that he had a good talk will Ricki H, so you who hope that nixinoz would relay that information to us at yellow fever.

5-1 to the Nix. 1-0 at half time courtesy of Andrew Durante finish during a goal mouth scramble. Nix dominated right from the outset and compared to the same stage last year looked very sharp and industrious. the defence of Lochead, McKain, Durante, Sigmund with Dodd as a holding midfielder looked solid although Sigmund struggled most of the first half. Dodd and Lochead I thought were outstanding and we lost count of how many times Lochead was bombing on down the line. It must of been atleast 30. The midfield looked was definently a bit rusty in the first half and they are obviously working out who works best with who. they were looking to play very wide up front and got some good crosses in and also some very sh*tty ones. Covney had a thundering far post header cannon into the bar after Durante scored and Broadbeach had a couple of breakaways down Sigmunds side but all in all the defence looked far more composed and solid than last year. Bertos and leilei Gao looked pretty good and there was alot of interchanging with Gao and Christie. Christie looked a bit average but was better than last year. First half line up was
                    -Paston-
           -Sigmund-Durante-Mckain-Lochead-
                      -Dodd-
               -Gao-Bertos-Christie-
                  -Draper-Covney-

changes rung at half time. They lined up as
                   -Paston-
        -Sigmund-Durante-Mckain-Lia-
                   -Chrsite-
          -Sullivan-Ferrante-Daniel-
               -Draper-Smeltz-

The line up might be a smidgey out becuase there were so many changes we struggled to keep up. It wasnt long before the second was added after a great one-two between either Lia/Ferrante and Daniel who whipped in a left foot cross and was meet at the far post with a diving header at ground level from Sigmund. A superb goal. Daniel was merciless on his opponent and regualry got in behind to deliever good crosses although the pitch was pretty rough and contributed to some poor finishing and first touches. Smeltz was awesome and this gave Draper more room to operate and towards the end he was rewarded with two goals and a final from Smeltz. All these later goals came in the last 20 minutes as they really ramped up the pressure. They played at the same pace throughout and towards the end, Broadbeach managed to create a couple of good chances with Paston parrying a stinging 25 metres drive and in the last 30 seconds they converted a well deserved goal as they battled much harder than Wests!Midfield was incredibly strong in the second half and they really over ran there midfield but Daniel was the crucial difference in getting in accurate crosses and was well supplied by Ferrante who had a very good game and Lia. Crowd was about 150 with a few Nix supporters and as usual a calm night about 17c. Could of sworn we saw Michael Zullo and Gao finished the first half without punching anyones lights out. Daniel came in for a little bit of treatment and Dodd dished out lots. Overall the Nix looked very solid and would get a good report card based on what I saw last year. the test will come tomorrow night as a Gold Coast selection will be quite strong. It will be interesting to see who starts and we'll do another report on Thursday night. Cheers from the Gold Coast

Good to hear about Draper scoring two goals.  Should give his confidence a boost.  Same with Sigmund.

Considering Bertos was only on for the first half, he was actually really good and in the thick of it. he played some really good balls. Really impressed with the pairing of Mckain and Durante. They had a good understanding and complimented eachother very well.
