....For the Phoenix (obviously).

With Pasty injured and Crowther's eccentricities I have been trying to think happy thoughts.

For me, the greatest goalkeeping moment was Moss last season, a tremendous tripple save.

Buggered if I can remember who it was against though, hopefully someone can remind me!

Paston's organisational skills have been well above this league and so non-aesthetically I think that has been the best moment. Moss made a few good saves that would be the "Greatest Goalkeeping shot-stopping moment for the Phoenix."wellyphoenixfan2009-12-14 00:27:47

wpf, I really thought you were serious before, but I'm starting to think you're either taking the piss, or obsessed? Maybe just purposely pushing it too far?

I reckon that time Paston saved that penalty against Bahr.... nope actually not that.

Maybe Crowther's header this weekend, hmm ok maybe not.

Seriously though, Moss last season did have a few great saves. And I remember that triple one too. Pure class

When we last played Sydney we lost 3-1 and Paston was in goal. This time we only conceded one and it was a crappy penalty therefore Crowther MUST be a superior keeper to Paston. Just look at the numbers. Toffeeman2009-12-14 10:25:03

Its no longer a problem.

Scratch that comment. That was the game Pasty got injured after 10 mins and Crowther came on for him. So much for my numbers

Its no longer a problem.

Possibly Crowther's sweeping in Palmy..

He uses his head, his feet,
He rarely keeps clean sheets,
Crowther, Crowther

Damn, I was going to suggest when Crowther has headed the ball in a couple of games too! Going to CHCH Harry?

Can you prove it, maybe with some stats?

I honestly don't get why using stats to back-up an opinion is so bad. Plus SB and others don't ask for it when you will complain if I do.

Also remember the favour I did for you the other day SB, no questions asked...

Not Phoenix, but Bannantyne's TeeDubz goal...

Mossy's spectacular saves across the first two seasons were fantastic, and he saved that penalty against Sydney in season 1 (last home game)

Basically every time that Moss started for us was a great moment.

We miss you, Glen.  Come back soon!

Moss pulled off some brilliant ones. We would not rate Pasty so high if he hadn't saved THAT penalty. However, hes not bad.
