He said we were 10th? Just inside the playoffs. Great read though,

Disappointing to hear him refer to the 'Cake-Tin' twice.

But besides that a real good read.

That's a pretty short post.  Can I ask what you had to edit?

A few mistakes, the 12 game unbeaten streak, the 10th place reference, and the 'Caketin' references, but otherwise a good read :)

Someone needs to send a media notice to all football journos in NZ, telling them to only refer to Westpac Stadium as 'The Ring of Fire'.

As long as Gourdie and HoG don't use the 'Caketin' reference, that's a good start.

Am i not right in saying he is talking about at the stage (where we are on the ladder) of the game vs GCU

I dunno, but 10th isn't a playoff spot.  Think he mean 6th, talking about game coming up with Sydney.

Good stuff

Calls it 'soccer' throughout ???? Where are you from Chris?

For those upset at 'cake tin' references - it is a cake tin

"Football is relatively new over here".

Maybe he was pissed when he wrote it and gots his facts a bit mixed up

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

It is a pretty good indication that he was well liked by the Rovers fans as well with all the positive comments. Good read and great to hear he has settled in so well.

For all the moaning over small, trivial facts it was a good blog.  Good on you Greeny, we all love you.

As an aside, anyone know where I can grab a Tranmere shirt with Greenacre and his number on the back?

Interesting to read that the referee apologised for the offside incident against Adelaide.

Spells like a footballer though. Persistent use of "there" rather than "their". Tsk tsk...

I think that just proves the blog is the real McCoy, as well as the liberal interpretation of facts!

I hope we one day have such a rapport with a player like he has with Tranmere Rovers.

We have players who we love and who love the club but bonds like that can only be built with time.
