Wow. It keeps on keeping on.

Mossy 7 Solid, organised well.
Louis 5.5 Kept giving away free kicks, pushing, using arms, apart from that... good
Siggy 9 Tremendous defence
Dura 8 Excellent defence
Manny 6 Had his hands full, kept his winger out for most of it. Too many fouls too.
Riera 6.5 Caught in poss a couple of times, mainly very good
Roly 8 Created the first goal, always a threat. Good options
Lia 6 Better than Sunday, covered back with excellence
Mikey 7 Caused them problems
Brocks 6.5 Worked hard
Kenny 6 Nice goal, good effort
Boyd 8 Two excellent goals to win it for us
A Rod 6 Came on and did the job
Boxall 6 Set up the last goal.

Ernie 9 Good to see the fireworks on the sideline. Good team management.

Your thoughts?

Roly a 7.5 I think he tried to do a bit too much at times and got caught. It could be that Adelaide focused on him. Aside from that spot on.

I think Roly is being targeted more in recent games.

I hope he doesn't get hacked down and out with injury.

Totally, and awesomely guys have gone real tight on him so he's just turned past them in a flash. Lucky Perth aren't as dirty now or they'd try to end his season.

Mossy 5 Flapping in the wind a bit too much. Couple of nice saves in the second half.
Louis 5 Kept giving away free kicks, pushing, using arms, and got skinned a few times apart from that... good
Siggy 9 Tremendous defence, some nice interceptions and timely tackles.
Dura 8 Excellent defence, some timely tackles.
Manny 4 Kept giving away free kicks, pushing, using arms, and got skinned a few times. I gave him a 4 because with his experience he should really be over the rash crap and stop seeing the red mist.

Riera 6 Caught in possession a number of times but.
Roly 8 Created the first goal, always a threat. Good options
Lia 6 Covered back with excellence but also gave away possession too often
Mikey 7 Caused them problems
Brocks 8 Worked hard and dragged the defence, should have received the penalty.
Kenny 6 Nice goal, good effort
Boyd 8 Two excellent goals to win it for us, came on and gave their defence a merry run around
A Rod 6 Came on and did the job, tightened it up in the middle.
Boxall 6 Set up the last goal and didn't get skinned.

Ernie 9 Good to see the fireworks on the sideline. Good team management. Why hasn't he been signed up already.

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

I reckon Siggy and Dura should have equal ratings. They both had great games and especially worked well as a unit - classic tackler/sweeper combo. Siggy flies into tackles and makes those crucial challenges all over the park whereas Dura covers the space and holds off a bit more, directing his defenders where to go and mopping up anything that makes it past the fullbacks or Siggy.

I thought Durante had a horrible game. Touches that put him in the poo, pass to Riera that dropped us in the poo.

Grumpy old bastard alert

That's a very strange observation JV. I watched that game four times and there is absolutely no way Durante had a horrible game. All the major errors and loss of possession came from Manny, Fenton and even Riera himself.

He got done like a dinner for their goal.

Yes, but you could also say for their goal that Lia gave the ball away & Manny, for some reason, ran away from the play (trying an ill-timed offside trap I guess).  It actually looked like Dura got a bit of the ball when their winger was dribbling - just a bit unlucky that it went straight back to Mabil.

You cannot be serious!?

Manny got caught AWOL, leaving a MASSIVE hole for Mabil to bomb into. Durra HAD to come across to cover because Manny was absent, and he closed him down and forced him away from goal. Siggy came across to cover where Durra woulda been if Many was on station, and Siggy JUST missed the ball by a fraction...

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

Phoenix fans. We have to win them over one fan at a time.
