Question: does anyone know if they are carrying on the policy of foundation members getting free access to the lounge?

Painless renewal. Pretty silly offering a lanyard without any membership card though.
Nice for some as expected I have received nothing particularly PO as not only am I a Foundation Member  but unlike many i took membership the last 2 season. Dosnt help when you get an email from the club saying you should have received your email by now.

Yeah, I kept my membership last season too. You check your spam account? It comes from a different email address from normal. Have a look for [email protected]

Yeah, email sucks. There is no way to guaranty delivery and no way to see if an email is delivered. Years ago they used to call for renewals.

Funnily enough I received 3 emails for some bizarre reason.

(09) 214 2183.

I havent tried to renew mine and my son's memberships but I'm anticipating having to call to get both sorted.

$30 for 10 games at the cake tin. Is that excessive? All depends I suppose.
You'll be able to access the gane in Wollongong as well!

Annoying thing is they will probably sell $10 tickets after games as in the past. Does seem at times as if the club really dosnt no how to treat members. Getting rid of membership cards shows that.

I got an email for one of my 3 memberships.

Digital membership card again which is dumb.  Looks like I am just buying me 3 and not a 4th again this year (wanted to get a membership for my 1 year old from birth, but without the keepsake showing it, it's kinda pointless)
Not happy with the digital card seems they just dont get it that most members prefer the actual card. Many love the fact thatthey have them from previous seasons. hope people let the club no if they arnt happy with that.

I sent them an email saying I am gutted and it stopped me buying a 4th membership last year and this year.

Up to them to decide if they care.

Also depends how many womens games are played here.  If we get heaps then that is a lot more football to watch.

But I can defo appreciate in the current inflating times it's still gonna be a lot for some people to stump up.

Go study at the Open Poly and get your student card.

The membership covers A-Leagues Women's games as well, so despite the price increase it gives access to more games at a competitive cost per game when compared to previous seasons (depending on how many of the women's games are in Wellington).

I think the option of a ALM and ALW standalone membership could have been good as well - my partner will come to ALW but not overly interested in ALM for example, and having seen plenty of football culture I'm sure there's more than a few out there who want ALM and no ALW.

Happy to part with my money to support the club and can't wait for the season to get underway.

Not a Welly fan so not an issue for me but $300 seems like a lot of money... when you could probably just buy tickets closer to the time of the game and pay less.

Theres a tweet floating around somewhere that foundation member benefits are the same as usual... could be wrong but that is my understanding

So just renewed membership and couple of observations. There is the option to select to receive a physical card instead of the digital which is the default selection.
No acknowledgement of either Foundation Members or their membership number. Also not really sure why my membership said unnamed  since day 1 it has always had my name on it. Other than that fairly painless did anyone spot if there were details of what was included in the Membership Packs.

Our acct had not loaded our mate who I book for, and I had trouble getting our old seats selected to make sure we were still sitting with friends.  But an email and phone call back by the lady at Flicket sorted all that.  Plus she confirmed that though we lapsed the last two years due to the Aussie exodus, we remain Foundation members - though the website does not make that clear.

Flicket were helpful so give 'em a buzz or drop a line if you need to sort any issues.

At the time Dome said it was pretty tough and that membership wasn't looking great, so not too many.

We attempted to renew in the first season, but by the time I'd mustered the troops the club said we were too late to renew and memberships were closed for the season.  I think they'd set a cut off date but I don't think publicised that.

Got two emails at work today. $296 and it includes the Womens games is a reasonably good deal. Sadly, I'm in the throws of leaving Wellington for other pastures. Still 175 games was a great run. Might try and catch a game here and there, who knows. Rather than have games in Auckland, move them all to Napier!! That would be handy.

Your attendance at games will most certainly be missed. Would love to see a game in Napier at Labour Weekend become a permanent thing. Also think a game in Auckland should be made a permanent fixture around a long weekend.

clicked the link this morning, surprising simple, both mine and my sons memberships were there, renewed both, requested physical cards to be issued, next step was to provide names for both.
Just under $400 for both memberships, but given it includes the Women's games I'm happy with that.

What does the phrase mean in the email:
"Please noted this link will only log you in once"?
Does it mean that:
  •  it will log in once so you can access your details and set up an account with password etc: so that you either renew then and there, or log in with those new details later and complete the renewal? or
  •  it will log you in, and if you look at the offer then end the session without yet renewing, you will no longer have access to your account should you decide you want to go ahead and with it (say, the next day)?

I saw that so only clicked it when i was ready to renew. Not sure why you would risk it as it says you can only do it once.

clicking the link will log you in once only (first time you click the link) after that ie when logged in you'll need to set a password via the account button

Nothing in the email about pricing etc. How would I know that I was ready to renew? Especially as there's other members associated to my account (not part of my household) that I'll have to confirm the price etc and get the go-ahead from them before renewing theirs.

so before you renew anything change the password so you can log in again at a later date.

Also aware of that the change  hasnt been as smooth as you would expect. Flick them or the club an email detailing your concerns we can only hope they listen and improve next season.

I think Flicket is just a company that sort the membership side of things, they are not a ticket seller.

North Harbour rugby have also partnered with Flicket and it seems as though Flicket provide a platform for North Harbour to sell both Memberships and Individual tickets (as well as Merch). Could be an approach that many NZ sports teams embrace if it works.

No worries. Just an interesting bit of history. Probably meant that so few people were offering that it wasn't worth their while resourcing handling more memberships.
