Must be the club, I got one as well.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Afraid I biffed mine. Looked like spam, specially as I'd never heard of sender, so it got killed! Jag2008-02-06 10:13:50

it's a bit long, but gives us a chance to talk up the Phoenix

felt a bit weird though being thanked for helping the development of Australian football

Hide it by wearing it round your neck on those lanyard thingies that come with them.

Or you could sew it over the Knights badge if you have one of their shirts...!!

I think Hyundai are probably wanting to see if they are getting there moneys worth sponsoring the league, either through people becoming mroe aware of their brand then translating that into more cars sold.
or maybe the FFA is gonna say hey guys our fans say they love your stuff and buy your cars when replacing their olds ones, keep putting money in our bank account please.

Always a good chance, if they listen, for things to improve for us the fans

Yeah I filled it too.
Was hoping to be in the draw to win a hunday but..nah you only get something crappy, as usual.
Anyway, you never win so why bother??

Speaking of which. Would I be allowed to start a thread on TAB? i.e. tips, suggestions, advice?
I've lost about $700 this weekend, on two different bets, just for one goal on each bet...

I loved how there was a whole page of questions along the lines of "Do you want to buy a hyundai more now they're sponsoring the A-league"

You are meant to stroke/humour them and write:
Yes
Yes
Yes
Yes
No (they normally put a reverse question to eliminate the meaningless survey responses)
Yes

..this encourages them to put up the cash next time to run the comp. otherwise they say no body is gonna buy a new engine from us so why sponsor the A-League?

To be honest, I am more likely to buy a Hyundai because of the A-League sponsorship.

I still wouldn't buy one, but if I was in the market for a car in a segment Hyundai are in, the sponsorship of football would make me more likely to look at Hyundai than a rival.

yep, due to their sponsorship Hyundai have gone from "who are ya?"

to "I'll just look at a couple of other options and I might get back to you"

so I could honestly tick the "more likely to buy" box

i bought a sony tv after xmas, and whilst i think i bought it coz it was what we were after and a good price - the sponsorship didn't do any harm either

shame Harrington's brewery don't sponsor them -that'd be win-win

I thought that stuff about Hyundai in the questionnaire destroyed it credibility. What a daft thing to do so brazenly. Why the f**k would I be more likely to buy a Hyundai because they sponsor the A-league....????

I said I was as likely to buy a Hyundai as I ever was. Which is true, as I had never considered buying one before.
