agree KJambo. when he didn't even connect with that unmarked header
from a cross that was hardly screaming through the air - all they
said was they were surprised for a man so good in the air

Jardel is carrying a lot of weight these days. He's a big lad. No
wonder he can't get off the ground to connect with those
headers.
I find it very sad watching Jardel. He was a phenomenon
in his time in Portugal. Now clearly on the last of his slide
down. He has suffered depression apparently, that's why I
think we should be a little light on him (no pun intended) and let
him finish the season with some dignity. I doubt we'll see
him next year.

geez the Roar are certainly unpopular, but I actually see a lot of
similarities between them and us.
As a Kiwi ex- Roar fan, living in Qld (I just couldn't
get behind the Kinights, they were a disaster in every aspect) I
have to admit to having a soft spot for the Roar. I reckon they
play pretty exciting and entertaining football and I love players
with a bit of thug about them (Moore, Tiatto, Ognenovski). At the
ground we didn't get any replays of the sending off, but from what
I could see it looked like a shocker of a dive. Shame on you Seo,
crap like that turns borderline fans off the sport.
Having said that, I have given my Roar t-shirt to my
girlfriend and wear my Phoenix shirt to every game at Suncorp,
regardless of who's playing. I was glad to see some Yellow Fever at
Suncorp on Sunday, and I would have joined them again for a piss up
at the Irish pub across the road but I was with the in-laws and we
went to dinner - they're Dutch and were all wearing orange...

Sounds like sour grapes to me. I am Sydney born, lived on the NSW
Central Coast and moved to Queensland. I am married to a kiwi,
who incidently is a huge Roar Fan too. The Nix supporters we met at
our pub, Kitty O'Sheas seemed like a nice bunch.

I have to have a chuckle at those bagging the Roar. Wellington
should feel priviledged that they were invited to join an
Australian League in the first place, that goes for those failures
called the Knights and Football Kingz (in the old NSL) too. I
really think you should show some respect that you are allowed to
play in an league that is well above your class. And just remember
this...You have the wrong Alosii!!!!
