Hope so, I need something to get me to sleep. (Not being mean, I always listen to podcasts as I doze off)

I'm exactly the same actually, I find it takes my mind of things and I can get to sleep easier. I thought it was just me.

It's the best time of the day to listen to them too. It's semi awkward listening to a podcast while not laying down. I used to listen to the Hamish & Andy one every night, until it became weekly only. Now it's an array of 5-Live Football, ESPN FC, Yellow Fever etc..

As the fall out from Honiara continues, the pod talks the All Whites by dialling in Danny Hay to clarify his criticism, while also questioning Ryan Nelsen's non-appearance. In international football, there's a roundup of latest World Cup qualifications and predictions galore as the pod covers the Euros. Back in New Zealand, the team covers the latest in Phoenix news via David Dome, and a roundup of local Wellington club football.

I listen to them on the way to work and back, beats listening to ads screaming at you and the same 3 songs over and over again.

In The Zone V13 is live! We talk @NZ_Football, @WgtnPhoenixFC, & Euros. It's tops. yellowfever.co.nz and Itunes at bit.ly/YFZone

Episode 13 of New Zealand's number one football podcast sees the team chat Wellington Phoenix following the signing of Benji Totori and eight youth players. In New Zealand Football news, there's discussion of the men's Olympic squad, including a duet by Oly-White and All White members Tim Myers and Michael O'Keeffe, while at club level there is round 3 of the Chatham Cup. In Euro action the podders assess their prediction ability and look ahead in the knockout stages.

Interesting everyone getting on Spain's back. I think opposing teams are equally at fault for boring games. France played two RBs. Teams have seen the success of Chelsea, Inter against Barca and Switzerland in sitting deep and centrally and not allowing much space between the lines and between GK and defence and playing on the break. Teams are less naive when playing Spain than they were a few years ago but also at the same time Spain are probably a bit more conservative with increased pressure and possibly focussing too much on their strength of keeping possession.

Get into v14:

http://yellowfever.podomatic.com/entry/2012-07-02T12_47_29-07_00

The pod is back at it again to criticise the FFA for Phoenix/All White fixture clashes, chat with Ricki Herbert live from the Phoenix's open training day, and reflect on Kosta Barbarouses' loan to Greek giants Panathinaikos. The international segments looks at squeaky bum time at the Euros, and as always, local Wellington football gets attention.

Just by the bye, United and Petone have already played each other twice this season in Cap Prem. 3-2 to United at Newtown and then 3-2 to Petone at Memorial. The second leg was fairly interesting, United bombed a 2-0 lead and the officiating left both sides wondering what the f*** was going on at various times throughout the game. However apart from the lino and ref not seeing the ball cross the goal line by a metre at one stage, the poor officiating didn't really favour either side.

Gutterd I missed out on the chance to ask him stupid things. Like who'd win in a fight, Ricki Herbert or a War Bear.
