almost boarder line conspiracy theories, but good rant about the U17 appointments. For me, the appointments smacked of all the negative qualities we see time and time again from the top of NZF - no/little strategic thinking, lack of communication and no sign of integrity.
now I don't know who is most qualified/suited to coach the U17 out of the lot of them, but say it is Danny Haybales and Zoro, then rather than having two guys come in who have experience and expertise, it looks like "they are out mates, so they get the job...your results do not count for much as you where just keeping their seat warm" kinda bullshark.
then there is the idea, that there aren't enough coaching gigs in NZ for aspiring coaches, well if the national body treats successful coaches like that, who would want to coach in NZ?
end mid afternoon rant.
