Hi, I am first time poster, so I don't want to be negative but I watched the Phoenix lose 2-0 to Central Coast in Tauranga yesterday, and they were awful. They didn't have one shot on goal in the whole match and could barely string together any passes. There was too much passing backwards or sideways and it was obvious they have no creativity or anything going forward.
It seems to me that the team is badly in need of some new blood and I wonder if the new owners will do anything about this.
Also, much as I respect Ricki Herbert as a player and manager for what he has done with the All Whites I wonder after nothing but mediocrity from the Phoenix (in my humble opinion) whether he is untouchable?
