Is Beckham coming to Wellington????

I know a lot of threads have been made about this, but nobody has actually answered the question: is Beckham and the L.A. Galaxy coming or not? I read somewhere about 2 maybe even 3 weeks ago that the Phoenix will make an announcement about it in the next few days but I've heard nothing whatsoever.

Please don't say whether you think it will be a waste of taxpayers money or not, I just want to know if he's coming. Because if he is I need to book my ticket to Wellington ASAP

But is anything official, like date, kick-off, ticket prices?

There is no confirmation yet from the club.

Possibly some delay due to his current injury?

no confirmation yet but, the club has stated Dec 2nd is the preferred date if it does happen. Bets bet is to book tickets to wellington to get here for the home game on the friday night and stay untill monday.

Flying up, please don't think I'm from Auckland. I might book tickets to Wellington on Friday (if I don't have an exam then) and watch the Phoenix later that night, and hopefully get to see the Galaxy a few days later. Who are the Phoenix playing on 30 November?

30 November?  That'd be Adelaide.  But Frankie Mac's right; you'd be better off coming down to watch Fillipe - quality player and his missus doesn't look like a 12 year old boy.

LOL - yeh well with his current luck with injuries don't count on him appearing this year.  heh j/k the last I heard we're still on for December.  He just needs to man up and get on the field.
