I'm 50/50 about it. Theree are lots of pros and cons. It would have been better if our lads had played it fresh and I hope they don't hold back on Friday night preserving themselves for Sat.

League game is most important . Positive exposure of Galaxy game would also be great for the club.

If the exposure has the desired effect, I can't see it NOT being a good thing.

Besides, it's another Phoenix match to watch!  :D

I hope we play well but not TOO well. I don't want MLS clubs snapping up Felipe.

its over hyped.

ys it is good phoenix getting a game against a dif team with a world known player (not world class!!!!) , but the amount of hype around an average player is BS

Stay at home and cry about it if you don't want to go. Enjoy yourself!

Back to the topic, i don't see any bad things apart from the possible injuries. It gives the nix great exposure, we get the chance to win over 10,000 more fans And the fact we get to watch David Beckham and the mighty Nix play mean it's a no-brainer for me.

It could be bad. It could be a stupidly high score, if the way the Bling schooled them was anything to go by - then these new fans may come to the next home game expecting a similar goal fest. This is the only negative I can see.

Oh, our next home game after the LA game is against the Glory. Never mind, then.

Stay at home and spam then while everyone else has a blast.

Beckham game is superb for football in this country, nobody can argue that, although i'm sure some will try...

Surely it's all positives for local football, especially in terms of generating interest and showing people a football match can be an event worth going to, instead of sitting at home miserably talking about why the All Blacks failed to win the World Cup. Gets the average Kiwi into more of a football mindset, and more people will come to understand why football is the infectious game it is worldwide. All good.

Mind you, with some of the tackles and stomping etc of the Galaxy players against Sydney, I wondered why that stuff was happening. A bit left field given the nature of the match. What were some of those players thinking? Are we going to see the same stuff happen here?

Like it or not, the Phoenix have to be a profitable business to survive. This event is an investment. Sure, he'll get a big return from it, but if that keep the Phoenix in the league for a long time, then it's not a bad thing.

Besides, he's invested a heck of a lot of time and money into this - I'd hate to see him lose money. So from a business perspective, I hope this is a massive success.

However, I'm not a businessman, I'm a football fan, so I'm going to enjoy it for what it means to me, and hope it helps spread the Fever. Hopefully, you'll be able to do the same.

Exactly, so they'll all be happy next game as well.
