‘‘It is good news for me. I won’t be classed as a foreigner once my citizenship comes through in about a year, but for now I am.
‘‘I have applied for residency and once I’ve had that for six months I can take the next step to citizenship.’’
Come on guys, he's signed a three year deal to be in New Zealand. If he goes well, he could even extend that. Who cares if he doesn't have the citizenship.

It is actually good for the Phoenix as it reduces his attraction to other HAL clubs due to being classified as a foreigner.
It will be interesting to see where Ricki intends to play Brockie. With Ifill playing as a striker (as he did from when he returned from injury forcing Greenacre deeper and Sanchez to the wing) it seems that Brockie and Ifill may be too similar in their approach. I would think that Brockie would be played in wide forward/winger position in competition with Bertos and Pantellis with at this stage Ifill as our striker and Sanchez behind. I think Ricki prefers a 4231/4411 approach and players in these positions are only based on our current squad. If an awesome striker is signed Ifill could move back to a wide forward/wing position.
I like Paul Ifill as a striker, but at this stage I wouldn't mind him paired with Brockie
Good to see @JRBrockie has signed for the Nix!!!! Will make the team a lot stronger.. Trying to go thur all the A League teams I think!!!
lolz

Got some exciting news to report, happy to announce Jes and I have a baby Brockie on the way. Due early Feb!! #goingtobeadad[/quote]Must be something in the Nix drink bottles, we don't seem to go a season without a player 'putting one in the back of the net'.
His father and a group of Nelson football fans have put together a travel package for the first match. Includes ferry, ticket, accomodation, a Brockie tour tee from RYOS and breakfast with Brockie and some of the players. Awesome deal!
Thats fantastic. Maybe I should move to Nelson that week
Good effort,well done
Congrats from Jr and me , Jeremy. Jr still talks about how cool you were with him 2 years ago ; things like that do leave a lasting impression on young boys 9 (who rightly or wrongly , do idolise their sporting heroes). So congrats and enjoy. Puts the rest of things in clear perspective.
Congratulations Jezza!
There was some article a while back that suggested that people with high stress jobs tended to have baby girls. Can't remember the reasoning behind it. I think it is bollocks.
Only measured the mother's stress I think.
Players taking their work home with them?

Brockstars goals for 2012/2013 season.
Interesting that 4 of those came from an Ifill cross/pass
