Good player, but does he need more experience before player with the Phoenix?

I think Mr Chrstie has taken a bit of flak on this site recently for his apparent lack of pace. Not sure he'd be a crowd favourite. . .

Well if it's true that Jeremy Christie is unattached then that blows out the door the theory that phoenix will only buy Christie if they are allowed to buy Bertos as well.

surely we can get better than christie? surely? please? bertos - anyday.........we dont have room for webster considering we already have 'that type' of midfielder which is the same type as christie too. Bertos is more attack minded and takes good corners...(ya know? constructive footballer) not a destructive footballer like if the opposing player was too fast for him he'd chop them down cough webster cough christie.

We'd probably have room in the squad for Christie/Webster as cover but only one of them and the money on the table for being a back up player probably wouldn't work for those guys. Costas bro might be a better bet.

Websters better then christie not doubt i dnt care wat neone says. However i dont like either of them much but i guess we need some squad players and webster could be a good squad player. Chris James dudes not too bad either. But if we sign Leo i thnk we would have one of the best midfields. Cortes Leo Aloisi Ferrante/Lia fkn brilliant. Flare!!! Something that no kiwi football side has ever had. Plus 2 greeks would be in the team even better! We can make a banner saying WOGS.

Brockie must have a seriously long guarantee on his knee pads caz hes been making every squad out.

I'd pick Costa above Brockie anyday and I've never seen Costa play.

The Craig Foster school of opinion.  "I've never seen them play, but that will be the coaches fault"...

I totally agree with Pavlos8 that for squad players Webster would be the best bet by miles over Jeremy Christie.

Chrstie over Webster.

Webster wants to play the enforcer role but can't not that christie can, althoug he atleast he has some technical ability.

No doubt. Ones over-rated ones under-rated. I think this is an easy one.

Costa under-rated? Really? I've never seen him play but I've heard so much hype about the guy
on this forum. I hardly think he's under-rated. Just hope he's not over-rated.

If Brockie signs then that would be good for both players as they will be able to push one another, and have someone to compare themselves with.
