Yeah, it'll be good to actually have a team to cheer for. Put that down to Midfielder's superb diplomatic mission on YF (cunning bugger)!

Great crowd but when that fella got sent off, a decent round of "Who are ya" would have happened at the stadium!!

certainly exciting stuff, not pretty but exciting. Roll on Sunday. Can't wait for the awards to be announced, or the awesome food at Four kings!
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

The Ruf, The Ruf, The Ruf is on Fire!!

Might get shot to bits for saying this, but I'd love us to sign a player like Oganowski. A big, experienced, hard as nails, take no prisoners type centreback.

As for tonight. I found it difficult to pay any real attention to a game between 2 teams that I really couldn't give a s**t about. Thought the penalties were soft.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

starting drinking at 1pm at the leagues club for a 7pm kick off might have been the reason for not seeing the program sellers

just watched the game - Elrich was excellent against Zullo.  Is it possible for us to swap the brothers?????

As an aside, I think that our Elrich will be excellent where ever he plays next season.  Do not underestimate how good a full pre-season will be for him.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

Our Elrich could always play for West ham and we could take Etherington in return!

[QUOTE=Wolfben] Worst - ref - ever

3-1 to ref

Hopeless display of refereeing - he looked way out of his depth doing this match,                          should have over-ruled the lino on the offside " fair goal ",    all the penalty's were piss poor. 2nd best ref in the A-League, good standard !!!!!!!!!!! yeah right

yeah Jag, Ognenowski's been my pick as one of the best centrebacks in the league - i don't regard him as a thug like moore or tiatto, he just has a great attitude and strength and commitment

i had had enough of both teams long before the 90 mins was up

was slightly impressed by some of Jets possession football, and the storming 25 mins in second half from qlnd almost had me wanting them to score  - but not a fixture that i'm ever likely to look forward to

agreed Stopou, midfielder's done a cunning PR job on here
