Chapter 6 The Return of Phoenix

Having reached the Pre-season cup final, losing to the merciless Melbourne, only to lose to them again in round two of the league, our Heroes could not find the back of the net in the next three matches. What was even more embarrassing was losing the last match against that pitiful outpost team called Perth Glory and so the Universal belief in our Heroes was shaken.

In leading up against the Evil Bling, King Terry rallied the troops and the Jedi Master Ricki trained our Heroes in the mysteries ways of the force. With the captain and vice captain were down and out as well as other players looking for confidence, there were seven changes to the previous lineup.

Our Heroes were able to rise up out of the ashes of five non-winning streak and from the bottom of the league. By using the force with goals from Smeltz and Brown, they crushed the heart of the undefeated competition leaders, the Evil Bling Sydney. They scored their first win of the league season.

As the whole Universe awaits in eager anticipation, our Pucky Heroes travels to Newscastle . . .
