Head of Medical Services - FULL TIME
Reporting to the Head Coach, you will have overall responsibility for all medical services. You will be a qualified physiotherapist managing the team doctor, strength & conditioning coach and a sports scientist.
The successful candidate will possess:
� Degree in
physiotherapy �
preferably with post graduate qualifications.
� Experience working
with professional athletes/ sports teams essential
� with a knowledge of
football desirable.
� Knowledge of
Musculoskeletal Screening/ injury prevention and rehabilitation
strategies during season essential.
� Excellent
communication & reporting skills
� to liaise with Head
Coach and medical team.
� Skills to establish
& develop medical systems.
� Knowledge of travel
requirements for professional sports teams.
Strength & Conditioning Coach - FULL TIME
Reporting to the Head of Medical Services, you will have overall responsibility for the fitness strength, and well being of all players.
The successful candidate will possess:
� A qualification at
degree level (or equivalent) in sports science or related area
specialising in the area of physical preparation of elite
athletes.
� Extensive experience
in the delivery of strength and conditioning support to athletes
(football experience desirable).
� Demonstrated ability
to conduct appropriate assessments and then develop, implement and
evaluate individualised strength and conditioning programmes.
� A verifiable record of
working within a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of
strength and conditioning to high performance sport.
� Excellent
communication (English speaking) & reporting skills
� to liaise with Head
Coach and medical team.
� Excellent technology
skills (computer and other) to allow for the management of large
amounts of training data

depending on the industry, wages are actually a small amount of total costs. Saw this doco few years ago where Nokia were saying their labour costs are less than 0.5% of thier overal costs.
