Yeah I went in and asked earlier in the year and they said they wanted me to work during the games. I dont want to be stuck in that stupid little booth while I can hear Yellow Fever chanting.

Even a clean out of the shop? I enjoyed chatting with them, even warmed to the lady once she got to know you. i thought they did quite well considering they had very limited stock with which to push out to the customers. I feel sorry for them.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Now, about that timing of your arrival in Melbs one day prior to a certain qualifying match for the Socceroos against Qatar.....coincidence....hmmmmm....not bloody likely!!!

seems a pretty comprehensive role, looks like the club is upping the ante re players fitness

4 staff dedicated to fitness (i guess that is an area that can put money into without affecting the salary cap that will provide on field benefits)

There's always the argument that if everyone had to be paid full rates including young 'uns then there'd be less jobs around. Some people may very well think that, I of course couldn't possibly comment.

depending on the industry, wages are actually a small amount of total costs.  Saw this doco few years ago where Nokia were saying their labour costs are less than 0.5% of thier overal costs.
