Why do most of the reports i read say how understrength sydney were.
What about us missing Tim Brown, Vince Lia, Mark Paston, Richard Johnsen, Steven O'Dor and Costa Barbourousas. And opting not to start George and Felipe due to fitness!
We were more depleted than them!
I'd like to get a few peoples thoughts on Sydney 's performance today and how you think they will go?

Sydney have no good strikers, and maybe Milligan and Carney might go overseas they might be stuffed.

Yeah i really think that Sydney are closing in on being a spent force. Especially if they lose Carney and/or Milligan.Their marquee search is going terribly. I cant see them being a force this year. Victory will be too good, and i have a funny feeling we will be seeing Newcastle take the wooden spoon.

Sydney also had a few guys injured, so they weren't missing only Milligan and Carney. Overall it's probably fair to say that both teams were understrength, but that should in no way distract from our performance. I was very (pleasantly) surprised with the ease we were carving Sydney open at the back. If they defend like that in the regular season, they will struggle. But given that this is only pre-season, that's probably unlikely to happen.

Zdrillic sucks so much ass, If it wasn't for his bad aiming Sydney FC would ave made it further in the ACL.

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is the latest marquee player they are trying to sign. Apparently he flies into Sydney today. Would be great for the league, but can't see it happening.

They put up A$1.3 million for Fowler, I'm sure Jimmy would look at that sort of money. I mean A$162,500 a month isn't half bad.
