I am hereby giving my nomination to Karl Dodd as the early
runner for player of the year. Woddya reckon?
Felipe might push him close and if Daniel stays upright for
more than 30 seconds he could be in there too.
However the way Dodds has been playing I would just give it
him now and save anyone getting upset at the end of season
dinner.

Far to early to call just yet and when we start our charge im sure
there will be a few who start to make claims for it.Given he is
part of a defence that has leaked some very soft goals cant see how
he would be the front runner at present.

Ferrante so far this year for me
Is that a pisstake? i'm a ferrante fan but his inability to
put one away severely limits his credentials thus far

I also like Ferrante, but he has just been realy unlucky, you never
know when that luck might change though. (look at Fabregas, he
couldnt buy a goal last year, now hes nailing them from all over
the place)

Ferrantes lack of goals shouldn't count against him. Dodd hasn't
scored any goals yet and he goes up for every corner!! Goals aren't
everything!! I think it's too early for picking someone, but on
current form I think Lochead and Dodd have been the most
consistent.

let me rephrase this....I love the work this guy does round the park....but the pure fact that he has blown about 6 fairly decent opportunities, some at clutch times, makes giving him Player of the year so far borderline insanity
