Anyone else hear Kieth Quinn on Radio Sport yesterday.
He was saying he was starting to nod off during he All Blacks v Scotland game as it was so boring. I guess he's been watching to many real football games at the Backbencher and has got used to all the excitment.

Or it could be that it was time for his nap and he'd just finished a nice cup of cocoa.........

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Saw Keith Quinn at the 1st Phoenix game, - he would not be  the only one  going to sleep watching Rugby !!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Scotland B were hopeless - how did they get nil ? Partick would have put up a better effort .

Keith Quinn has an open mind when it comes to sport. But he'll support anything Wellington or a national team. A VERY BIG Beatles fan to boot I believe.

Good to see him at any of the games - that's another through the turnstiles!
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Watching 30 players all dressed in the same strips  in a meaningless miss match  in a tediously over drawn and  long tournament is hardly going to set a fire in your loins  is it !!

Easy now! We'd have done them.

Actually, I do quite like old Keith. Used to like listening to him when he was on Devlin's show on Radio Sport

I like him too mate.He does seem to support any Wellington sports team.I remember when a younger, less tolerant me used to get brassed off with Keith Quinns comments and pearls of wisdom during the rugby.
He's always been a mine of information on sports in general, rugby in particular. Nowadays he's become a sporting institution almost and I quite enjoy his sporting anecdotes and recollections. Is it true that TVNZ,in their infinite wisdom, have recently put him out to pasture and retired him off their roster?

Improving,,on the up, a work in progress from Italiano and the Nix. Bring on the bathroom bling in '24! COYN!

Agree he does seem to have a down to earth warmth with his comments unlike all the over the top hyped up shouting that tends to be more and more prevalent nowadays slightly bumbling but more human and real in my opinion, felt a bit sorry for him the way he was given the heave from the telly recently!

 - the justification for Quinn's retirement from TVNZ was that the rugby coverage had been tied up by TV3 and Sky, so there was nothing to commentate about

Sky should get him to do side line comments instead of Elrick. A bit like Ian Smith does for the Rugby!

Better still get Quinn in for De Jong.

Three for me, and two for them.
