Which actually makes no difference anyway. Champions has never really impressed me, went there once to buy trackpants and they had none in my size, didn't take the chance to offer to order some in for me (I would have accepted and they'd get a sale), never ask if I need help, basically lackluster service. RYOS? Good stock, great dedication to the Phoenix and Yellow Fever, and everyone who works there that I've met are awesome people. So I spend there anyway

Football is for life, not just for December 1st!!!

Champs are football only purveyors and huge friends of the Fever. Champions of the world are most obviously not.
So Champions Of The World is the one accross the road from Starbucks, or is it the small store futher down the road?
I wonder how many suckers will buy Galaxy gear from there. The
Galaxy of course will be laughing all the way to the bank.
Meanwhile we will continue to shop at Champs (Cuba Mall) & RYOS
(Lambton Quay) as both stores have staff with awesome
attitudes and Nix gear cheaper than anyone else.
The Ruf, The Ruf, The Ruf is on Fire!!
I think thats the store hes talking about. It had the Galaxy shirts outside on Wednesday.

No no no - I tried to go to lengths to say that I didn't mean RYOS (but forgot the name of that place when I wrote the post). I mean Champions of the World - and yes its the one opposite Starbucks down the Willis St end of Lambton Quay.
Big ups to RYOS and Champs Sports for being behind the nix, I don't mind if they sell Galaxy gear because they're clearly behind our boys first and foremost.

I'm actually wondering how much support the 'nix will gain through this game if people are just jumping on the "ooooh, Becks" bandwagon.
Could it be that football on this occasion is turning into a circus?
Terry, yes this game will bring the club money but surely you could have got a good team, not an over-hyped player and his mates to come down here.

I hear that comment quite a lot. I guess you mean a top quality european club? Anyone know how much that would cost?
Normo's coming home
Hold off until post New Year and there will be tables of the kit at a fraction of the cost. Half the indoor teams in Wellington will be in Galaxy gear. Most of it doesn't even have Beckham or 23 on it.

And Beckham as the performing seal?
And Beckham as the performing seal?
Beckham, the best player in the England team yesterday?

Both players scored 7/10. I guess Crouch takes 'best player' as he was on longer. Still, I'm sure you can appreciate the point I was making.

Today I bought myself a new 160g Ipod and got
Wellington Phoenix
2007
Engraved in the back. Im pretty proud of myself
You're not alone, I ran into Cnut today and he was sporting one
I'm thinking of getting one of the
yellow training tops myself actually, but I'd wear it UNDER my
Phoenix kit come Dec 1As for shops with Galaxy gear that have never stocked an All Whites or Phoenix shirt ? That is a travesty.
Yeah, but what's gonna happen now that Sony are the major sponsor?
Are they going to print all these new jerseys or something? If so, the jerseys they have now will come down in price wont they?
