Presuming there is still money left under the salary cap could this last place to fill the roster go to Chris James??

I know Fat bloke has joked about this but you never know considering this line:

James, who walked out on the national under-20 team at their recent Fifa World Cup tournament in Canada and has now been released from Fulham, faces a battle against time to find a new club and get some meaningful football if he is to be considered for the four matches scheduled for October and November.

Tony P also said on the Phoenix hour yesterday that they hadn't ruled out the possibility of a marquee player

Did he? It would be good to get a marquee player, as long as it isn't a has been.

Can we get another foreign player as our marquee player??  What's the rule on this?

I don't think we can, so it'd have to be Simon Elliot or Chris James (I can't see Nelsen or Killen leaving their clubs).

Yeah, good point guys - it would have to be a kiwi or an Aussie.  Harry Kewell anyone?

Harry Kewell - who wants to pay him sh*t loads to be injured? What a laugh.

NO. NEVER. Don't even joke about it!!!!!
Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

I'd prefer Elliot or James over Vicelich any day.

On his day, Harry Kewell is as good as ANYONE.  Watch out for him this year. If he wasnt, Rafa would have given him the flick a long time ago.

I wouldn't quite say as good as ANYONE, and he hasn't had "his day" for about 3 seasons at least now.  I don't think he will ever have "his day" again...

Played UEFA Cup qualifier for Drogheda last week, so he's a bit busy.  Leilei Gao was on the bench for MyPa as well.

How's my driving? - Whine here

I rate him as a player, bit dissapointed we didnt sign him. LeiLei Gao would have been a massive coup for the club, but we have a quality LM in Daniel.

Leilei Gao would be brilliant! We should bribe the immigration officials or whoever to get him citizenship in NZ then sign him.
