I reckon we're still in the mix, being just three points off the top four. the next few weeks will be crucial with just one home game and three  away games on the trot. If we're still in contention after the three away games, we have a decent chance of making the top four.

The optimist and the realist inside me are slugging it out. The optimist is grinning stupidly, rabbiting on about having Felipe, Smeltz, etc back, and chanting "We'll thrash the Mariners, we'll thrash the Mariners!'. The realist is sighing and pointing out that our defence is now a huge concern, that we're falling down the table and that Perth are improving.

Hang on, maybe the pessimist is having a go too...

Phoenix have to be on top of their game to take down those top of the table Mariners - personally, I have a feeling we may do it. It's a must win before we hit the road for 3 weeks. The club shouldn't be expecting anything but, imo. 2-1 to the Phoenix - putting that score down at the TAB.
Looking forward to this game - have free tickets at a corporate box for it.

for the first time this season we will just about have a full squad. The mariners have lost there last two games I think?

If we can't beat them at home this week we are going to have real problems with our next three games!

2nd highest scorers in the league with the worst defense surely a recipe for mid-table mediocrity/respectability (take your pick)
Sort the defense out and the sky's the limit !

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

Until we get that goal difference in the positive we're not going to make the semi's.
Whats the answer???
I notice Moss does alot of yelling after the backs stuff up but not a lot of communicating when the opposition is on attack.  Or is it that the rest of the AL forwards are just to good for our backs?

i dont rate central coast as much as that. had a feeling that the roar might bring them back to the league. beatable without quality striker nic mrjda or wateva his name his. adelaide the best. but we can get a result this week and we really need it as we go to adelaide nxt week. rest of the teams beatable.
